Arcade1Up’s Spongebob Claw Machine is now available for pre-order

Arcade1Up is best known for its line of home arcade machines, but for its next release, the company is gearing up for some Spongebob-related nautical nonsense. Fans of Super Dynamic Sponge can test their skills with the full-size claw machine, Pre-order price is $600.

Just like a real-life claw machine, this version of SpongeBob SquarePants comes with a selection of themed plush toys that you can try to win with your hands or claw claws. Each plush toy – Spongebob, Patrick, Plankton and Sandy – has a cube shape to make them easier for paws to grab, and six plastic prize capsule toys are also included. Arcade1Up says the machine will offer three different game modes, ranging from an easy mode for kids or beginners to a normal mode for a balanced challenge. Or, if you prefer reality, Scam Mode will test your skills.
The cabinet also features a lighted marquee, illuminated control buttons and an interior overhead light, alongside various images of SpongeBob SquarePants and key cast members from the long-running cartoon series. The entire cabinet is over five feet tall, so you'll want to make sure you have enough room for it in your home.
This isn't the first time Arcade1Up has produced a claw machine, and if you want one without SpongeBob gleefully staring at you, you can buy one through Amazon for $550. While it doesn't come with any plush toys, it does have a more retro-style design and comes with 12 plastic capsules into which you can add prizes. Like the Spongebob machine, you can set it to Easy, Normal, or Scam mode.
Spongebob fans who want to revisit Bikini Bottom can also pre-order SpongeBob SquarePants: Tidal Titans It will be released on November 18th for PC, PS5, Xbox Series X, Switch 2, and PC. The new 3D platformer will let players switch between SpongeBob SquarePants and his best friend Patrick as they find themselves caught in the middle of a war between King Neptune and the Flying Dutchman.
Several editions are available for pre-order, including Standard version $40 and a $90 Ghost Tide Edition. Both versions are available physically and digitally, with pre-order bonuses including the Natural Costume Pack, a “cheeky” costume choice for Spongebob and Patrick.
