Arc Raiders roadmap reveals new maps, missions for November, and more in the coming months

Embark Studios is clearly keen to build on the success of its latest game, Arclight Guide. Just launched evacuation shooting game Maximum number of players Niche gaming on Steam is already growing, and now there's a roadmap outlining its trajectory.

Arc Raiders' roadmap gives us a glimpse into the coming months for this new third-person shooter on the market. As is usually the case, live service games will receive frequent updates that fine-tune the experience, iron out any issues, and steadily roll out new cosmetics, feats, and trials, as well as map conditions that should liven up the game environment.

The most exciting news relates to two updates released in November and December respectively. The first is called “Northern” and will include a brand new map called “Stella Montis,” bringing the number of Arc Raiders maps to five. Northern Line will also introduce a new community unlock event – ​​these are typically goals and challenges that the entire game community works towards to unlock rewards – as well as gear and quests. There will even be two new arcs featuring the game's robotic enemies that tower over the player, called the Matriarch and the Crusher.

Just a month later in December, another update called “Cold Wave” will be released just in time for the cold winter holidays. As the name suggests, there will be a new arctic map condition in the game as well as a supplementary event called “Flickering Flames.” I think players should start preparing to fight each other to stay warm come December.

According to Embark's announcement, both updates will also allow players to rediscover “something lost in the expansion missions.” However, only the December Cold Snap update will be included in Raider Deck, the battle pass version of Arc Raiders.
