An animation adaptation of “The Lord of the Rings” released in the theater in 1978. It achieved a huge box office success, achieving a huge box office in the $32 million North, eight times the cost of production. Mixed with a key reception, many Lotr fans were upset to learn the 133-minute film, covering only the fellowship of the ring and part of the two towers.
However, over the years, the film has won numerous fans and is now generally regarded as a cult classic. The movie has some incredible sequences and some pretty weird moments. In some ways, it reminds me 1993 Live Super Mario Bros. Movie. Both films have admirable risks, making it hard not to appreciate ambitions. But Lotr is certainly more faithful to the original material and writes much better. The first drafts were written by Chris Conkling, but the later drafts were written by Peter S. Beagle, the last unicorn author And revised by director Ralph Bakshi.
Bakshi makes some interesting choices when it comes to animation. The end result is a mixture of CEL animation and rotating mirror. Many of the scenes in the film are first shot on the spot and then trace back to making it look realistic. For an animated film made in 1978, The Lord of the Rings looks great.
Peter Jackson says animation adaptation is his huge inspiration Live version of “Lord of the Rings”.

Unfortunately, the animated film did not receive a sequel. The Hobbit animated film and the Return of the King were made at the same time, but both were made by TV shows. Both musicals are suitable for younger audiences, and they are actually better than you expected. That is, the musical is not produced by the same team, so the animation is completely different and not as effective. Re-made deluxe versions of both musicals are available on DVD. Latest printing Hobbit Repair Deluxe Edition Launched last year, it costs $22.49. The return of the King's remake of the luxury version Amazon discounts to $12.40.
For more than 40 years, the franchise has returned to animation with the Rohirrim War. Before Jackson's film, based on a part of the appendix in The Lord of the Rings, it was an anime released in the theater last December. It received mixed reviews and was a box office failure. The story and characters are haunting, but still worth paying attention to its stylish and often beautiful animated sequences. Rohirrim's war is in battle $13 on Blu-ray and 4K Blu-ray $20.
