American Season 2 Episode 4: TV Shows vs Games

The following articles include Destroyer For the final episode of American Season 2, Episode 4.
So far, the final season of US Season 2 has reached the middle with its strongest plot. It adapts to one of the most memorable parts of the game – Seattle Day 1 – so that means we have Ellie and Dina sign in downtown before we get into 13 Channel Channel TV Studio and escape WLF through the subway tunnel.
There are five key sequences in the original game that apply to this episode. Here we compare them to the original source material, analyzing what changes have occurred and what remains the same. You can see two versions in the video above, or read below for our written instructions.
city center

Shortly after the episode begins, Ellie and Dina arrive in downtown Seattle. This part of the game is opened by design so you can look around several different buildings. We only got two of them on the show. Weston's pharmacy and heroic music store. The pharmacy has only a few minutes of screening time, but does have our Last key game mechanic: Opening drawers and looking for a junk adaptation.
Meanwhile, the heroic music store has received more love. The show’s set is decorated with music-themed vinyl decor, just like it does in the game. On the bottom layer is the same red drum number, Dina is the same as they are in the game. However, when Ellie spotted the guitar in an overgrown room, the main activity took place upstairs. Bella Ramsey’s performance on me was very similar to what she did in the game, this voice style and slow melody.
Front base

Episode 4 introduces us to WLF leader Isaac Dixon. The sequence is adapted from a series of events in the game sequence, when you play like Abby instead of Ellie, and although it seems that this sequence happens at the “correct” time in the show due to the game's overlapping dual timeline structure.
In half of Abby’s competition, we saw her visit to WLF’s forward-looking operational base. There she met Isaac. In the show, we see a version of this scene, playing it in full. Similar to the game, WLF's capture of Seraphite was completely exposed, but the show saw them being tortured in the kitchen rather than in the bathroom. Isaac's cruel torture method is only hinted in the game, but in the show we see him actively hurting his prisoners in an attempt to learn more about Seraphites' plans.
Channel 13

Ellie and Dina's Channel 13 TV Studio Tour will naturally be the central event for this episode. In the game, this is the sequence of the duo’s first confrontation with a venous approach similar to the killer race and marks their first step towards finding where Abby is. The show recreates key elements of the TV studio with detailed details; WLF soldiers are stringed up above the studio floor, while the Six-Winged symbols are drawn on the wall just like in the game. Ellie's investigation into the area was interrupted by WLF members, who were shocked in the game to learn about their comrades.
Escape from a TV studio is crazier than the game, and the stormy weather adds more drama to the scene, but overall, if not one-on-one entertainment, Ellie and Dina Take the Out Design and Pathway and Pathway and Pathway take take take take take take take take take take take take take take take take take take take take take take take take take of take take of take take of take take of take of if not one-on-one entertainment.
tunnel

One of the most exciting sequences in our second part is Ellie and Dina’s journey through the Seattle Metro Tunnel. Bathing in the red light and being infected by the clicker, it is a truly frightening level. Not surprisingly, HBO went out of his way to capture the striking visuals here, while the abandoned subway car was illuminated by the red flares of WLF and search flashlights.
However, there are key differences between the event versions of the game and the show. This is the survival horror sequence in the game, with only a small but incredibly fatal collection to be infected to avoid. Meanwhile, the show fills the action – rather than being infected lurking on the subway car, arrives as a rechargeable, claw-like tribe. This makes the sequence more action-oriented, with Ellie and Dina scrambling to escape instead of sneaking into the tunnel.
The climax of the sequence also changed. In the game, Ellie is trapped in a revolving door, and Dina saves her by shooting an attacking clicker on the head. In the show, Ellie and Dina are both trapped in a revolving door, and Ellie allows herself to be bitten by an attacking clicker to protect Dina. It was this bite that led Ellie to reveal her immunity to Dina. In the game, it was a revelation a few minutes ago when Ellie's gas mask was shattered by an offensive runner. Because spores don't care about them in the show (At least now), the character does not wear a mask, so this kind of incident cannot be used.
I am pregnant

The final scene of this week's episode recreates part of the final end of Day 1 of the match: Dina reveals to Ellie that she is pregnant. In both versions, Dina shared the news on Pinnacle Theatre, and the two formed their base. It's a soft and painful moment in the game, and Dina looks under significant pressure. The show’s view is completely different, as the reveal almost immediately becomes a passionate kiss between Ellie and Dina.
