Blu-ray collectors don't need to wait Prime Day 2025 To get a great deal, summer sales have just begun with annual standards collection. Hundreds of 4K Blu-ray, 1080p Blu-ray and box sets to enjoy 50% off Amazon and Barnes & Noble pass July 27. But while you technically have a full month of deals to trade, many of the most popular standard versions tend to sell out before the official end date of these semi-open promotion periods, especially on Amazon.

4K Blu-ray (4K) is marked in the list. All other movies are 1080p Blu-ray with some DVDs sprinkled on it. To avoid duplication, we list only one format for each movie. That said, if you click on a sold-out 4K Blu-ray, you can get a 1080p deal by switching to the Blu-ray format on the store page.

As you know, there are a large number of standard collection versions included in the event. Since the only exclusion is booking, this means you can buy the entire catalog of movies that are still being printed and stocked. Criterion Collection gives itself curated high-quality Blu-ray, 4K Blu-Rays and DVD names, all in the name of saving. All standard versions have original cover art and premium packaging, and most have exclusive bonus features. Although standards are often focused on old movies (including black and white pictures), contemporary movies are also often added to the catalog.

Godzilla Criterion Collection Movies Get 50% off:

We don't remember an amazing time Godzilla: A Movie of the Star Fan Age, 1954-1975 When the price was $112.48 ($225), it was not sold out on Amazon, just like it is now. The Star Fan Times movies collect high-definition reproductions of 15 Godzilla movies released from 1954 to 1975. Criterion released a 4K remake of the original in November last year and released Godzilla vs. Biollante in March. The 1954 movie is actually a 50% discount, because you can get it for only $20. Godzilla: Ashia-er era movies and two recent 4K remakes are great examples of how the standard makes classic movies look and sound great on contemporary presentations and audio devices.

Akira Kurosawa Criterion Collection Movies Get 50% off:

The same can be said about the standard choice of Kurosawa movies. The legendary Japanese director's samurai movie is very popular in these sales. The same is true for good reason. Kurosawa's vast epic is always breathtaking and thought-provoking. Criterion recently released a 4K remake of its two most popular Kurosawa releases: Seven warriors and hoove song / sumjuro tobo pack. These two 4K versions are added Akira Hazawa's DreamIt is a feature of Japanese folklore style, including eight visions directed by the director.

Standard also does impressive work with contemporary films and often works with original filmmakers to ensure that the light it deserves presents award-winning hits of the 21st century.

One example is still a rather unique inclusion, as there are not many children's movies in the standard set. again, Pixar's Wall Not like many children's movies. Its unconventional approach to storytelling—at least a Disney movie, and a subtle commentary on global issues, makes it feel at home in the standard collection.

Wall-e’s digitally enhanced 4K Remaster was approved by director Andrew Stanton in 2022 and released in 2022, packed in a case worth showing, and definitely comes with special features. The movie runs at just 98 minutes, but the three-disc collection is 323 minutes. The nearly four hours of special features include multiple audio reviews, a bunch of documentaries about the filmmaking, and new features with Niuptel Stanton and Jim Rayden.

Coen Brothers Criterion Collection movies get 50% off:

There are many movies in the catalog that modern directors have. The shape of water Released on 4K Blu-ray last holiday, now you get romantic dark fantasy for just $25. Two Adam Sandler films are part of the standard series and feature a great 4K version. No, Gilmore or Billy Madison are not happy, although the latter gets 4K releases in July. Standard is home to two Sandler movies, which Martin Scorsese might call Movie: Uncut gemstones and Punching love. Both films showcase Sandler’s impressive range as an actor, and Criterion’s 4K Blu-ray version is excellent.

Martin Scorsese Criterion Collection movies get 50% off:

Speaking of cinemas, there are several Scorsese movies in the standard, including The last waltz and Angry bull On 4K Blu-ray. Scorsese's 2019 Gangster Epic Irish Can be used on 1080p Blu-ray.
