One of my favorite family holiday traditions is getting together and playing jigsaw puzzles. This is one of the few events that attracts people of all ages to the same activity. Every year we come up with a new puzzle and slowly solve it together throughout the day. It's easy, fun, and you ultimately feel a sense of accomplishment when you finally place the last piece. This year it’s my turn to bring puzzles to family gatherings, and luckily, Amazon is discounting a ton of Ravensburger puzzles right now.
Ravensburger is one of the best puzzle brands and one of the few that I always want to buy when they are on sale. The collection of Christmas-themed puzzles I've highlighted below are especially perfect for the holidays, but you can check out the full sale for more options.

Almost all puzzles in this sale are considered Amazon Lightning Deals. This means there is a limited amount of inventory available for the discount listed on each item. Therefore, the more popular the puzzle, the more likely you are to get the full discount before the sale ends. However, after reporting on these sales a few times, I discovered that only the most popular puzzles would reach the “limit” of the discount. Since these discounts are Amazon Official Black Friday Saleif people buy enough items, these offers will likely last to the limit.
Tips for buying puzzles
Buying a puzzle of any size is a commitment. You could easily put it on a shelf and forget about it, but it actually takes time to start and finish it. Unless you are a puzzle game world champion, it will take you more than a day to put together a puzzle unless it has less than 100 pieces or you have a lot of people helping you.
Make sure there is enough space
The first thing you should consider before buying a puzzle is whether there is a place to assemble it. Given that many popular puzzles have 500-1,000 pieces, it can be difficult to keep track of all the puzzles at any given time. You need enough space to sort and organize your items and be able to leave it or store it and return to it later. If you don’t have a puzzle-friendly table yet, there are plenty Puzzle board and table You can make purchases to make up for this. There are also puzzle mats that roll up your puzzle and put it away without undoing all your progress. All of this makes Great puzzle gift I highly recommend them to any puzzle fanatic.
Make sure you really like the image of the puzzle
Perhaps the more obvious tip for buying any type of puzzle is to make sure you actually like the image you put together before you buy. Many puzzles have lots of intricate little details to keep you interested as you put them together, but some have large swaths of monochrome that can be tedious to put together. If you've invested a lot of time into solving puzzles, choose something you'll be excited to look at once you're done, even if it's just for a little while.
Invest in some puzzle glue
While most people assemble a puzzle just for the fun of it, it can also be fun to display the finished product when you're done. This is especially true if the puzzle depicts a piece of art rather than just a photo. After all, this is a cardboard poster that you made yourself. If you plan on displaying your puzzle once it's complete, you'll want to get yourself some puzzle glue to ensure the finished piece actually stays together when framed.
