The edge of fate brings many major changes to Destiny 2. From fully remake armor systems to new weapons, new abilities and new car driving, there are plenty of new toys for the Guardians to play with. This is what players can expect on the edge of fate.
Matterspark
The Edge of Destiny will launch new destinations in the form of Planet Kepler, and players will also be able to explore new abilities, as well as new places to explore. There will be three new forces that play around Kepler in the form of dark matter power: – MatterSpark, reprocessing cannons and MatterMorph. Players find dark matter spores on nodes in the open world and then walk to special objects to trigger the forces of their choice, thereby activating these new forces. For example, Matterspark is activated by a spark pad on the ground, or MatterMorph is triggered by a green, luminous portion of a platform or door level.
MatterSpark will transform users into a small arc energy that can accelerate around the world in a short period of time. In this form, they are smaller and hard to hit, but they are still susceptible to damage caused. However, players can attack through combatants approaching their enemies, who will keep firing arc attacks and applying shock. In the case of Matterspark form, players can also pass through small openings in the world, thus traveling through corridors and pipes through other areas that may not be accessible.
Reprocessing the cannon
While Bungie hasn't fully disclosed the reinstallation cover yet, that's what we think it's like.
The Repositioner Cannon, described as a “fallen invention”, is an invalid elemental rocket launcher that twists the player to a new position while aiming and shooting. It also allows players to fly over a wall blocked by lasers or through shortcuts that are open enough to fit the projectile. When used as an offensive weapon, the porter cannon causes gap damage, causing a chain reaction explosion with a volatile effect, while the small invalid spark is different from the Graviton Lance Exotic weapon.
Mattermorph
MatterMorph is a new chain-based power that allows players to manipulate the environment to open new avenues and unlock previously invisible areas. Once activated, obstacles that can be changed through MatterMorph will glow bright green, and they will be moved with simple button presses. These same objects can also be used on offensively. When a player picks up an object with MatterMorph, the object can be kept and thrown away to cause chain effects such as suspension and unblocking. As Bungie describes, players can “delete the entire encounter before you transform the environment”, opening up many special opportunities to revolutionize the way they run campaigns and explore their destinations.
Armor 3.0 – New statistics, energy changes and set bonuses.
Armor will undergo a massive transformation at the edge of fate through the new “Armor 3.0” system. The system allows players to completely change their game style using the new statistics and armor privileges that come with the New World system. Armor is undergoing huge changes in how it works, and once resources are obtained, resource upgrades will no longer be required. Instead, it drops with a full gear slot and a world-class energy pool. The maximum energy that the armored piece can drop is 11, and the level 5 landing is earned in situations encountered with higher difficulty. High-rise armor also includes better statistics based on world-class.
Armor Setting Bonus
Armors obtained at the edge of fate and later will also come with set bonuses. Two to four pieces of armor rewarded by a given suit that receives special rewards in combat. For example, the TechSec armor displayed in the presentation presentation shows that it is able to add a two-piece reward to the dynamic damage caused by fighter shields, over-the-loops, vehicles and buildings. The four-piece bonus also adds a confusing shock wave emitted by enemies whose shields are damaged by dynamic damage. These are not the only effects that armor will have, and more will be found The edge of fate,,,,, traitorsurpass.
New armor statistics
All statistics are also being reworked. In addition to how the statistic of armor debris affects the player's strength, they now introduce the ability to break 100-point obstacles to get special rewards in each stat. Statistics are now broken down into the following:
- arms: Improve weapon reloading speed and processing. Increase weapon damage to small combatants and main combatants. The boost gain after 100 is the chance of curbing additional rounds from the failed target. It also adds weapons damage to the boss and oppose the guardian.
- healthy: Each time you pick up the power ball, it increases the amount of health you get. Reduces retreat from incoming firepower when aiming at weapons. The enhanced benefits increase the shield top-up rate and provide players with more health when facing combatants.
- class: Reduce your class ability to cool down. Increased the amount of class energy provided by all sources. The benefits of enhancement give users the upper hand when using class abilities.
- Grenade: Reduce your grenade capability to cool down. The enhanced benefits increase the damage caused by your grenades.
- Excellent: Added super energy from all sources. The benefits of enhancement add to your super damage.
- Melee: Reduce your melee cooling. Increased melee energy from all sources. Enhanced benefits increase the damage done by your melee attacks.
Griffin fights sparrows
Starting May 9, 2025, Bungie will launch special event heavy metals along with nine rituals. Heavy Metal is the new Crucible Lab Mode Nail Team in Drake Tanks, and the Fallen Brig Pacers are. This mode will be a special deathmatch in the Crucible, and players will be able to earn new rewards, Griffin.
Griffon is a new type of sparrow where players can use the typical sparrow or skimmer in the open world, but the car can also use guns on it. Although Green Sheng’s gameplay has not been seen yet, it may handle very similar to the typical sparrow with some extra toys on it.
Beyond the new land
Another classic fate exotic is brought back. This time it was a dynamic sniper rifle, without a piece of land, now called the new land. Players who book the Final Edition of the Prophet of the Year or Collector Edition will immediately unlock the weapon for use in the game. The new land is unique because it has no long scaling range, its iron sights, and has a quick time to make precise strikes. The inner cheer is the master, which increases the damage of the weapon until defeating Wild. Another unique benefit is that Bullseye consolidates precise hits greatly improves the weapon's target acquisition, processing, reloading speed and stability in a short period of time. Players who like headshot-centric weapons will surely bring a lot of fun to it.
