Do you want to know how to change? While there are a lot of materials to find, you still need to spend more effort if you want to accumulate all the items you need. Our guide has all the tips to help you with this task.
How to Scan and Mining Resources in Change – Polygon Scanners, Mining Outposts and Towers Guide
To scan and mine resources, you need three tools:
- Polygon Scanner – You can increase the number you have by completing probe upgrade research.
- Mining Outposts – Can be produced through workshops. Each one costs 30 times the cost of metal.
- Towers – You can make three at a time by selecting tower assembly packaging through the workshop. Each package costs 30 times the price of metal.
Polygon Scanner: How to Scan Deep Sediments
When exploring each area, you will inevitably find areas with deep sediments, such as those containing metals, minerals, organics, rapid bacteria and enhanced items. To scan resources in changes, you need to use a polygon scanner, which can be selected via the project wheel:
- Place the polygon scanners at an appropriate distance from each other until a closed profile is formed.
- In this outline, you should see if there are markers indicating the distance of a deep deposit.
- You can also press the button prompt to perform the scan wave. Scan waves show you the relative direction of the deep deposit you stand on. Please note that this operation costs 1 times the cost.

Mining Outpost: Resources and Explore Related Features
Once the core of the deep sediment is revealed, you will prompt you to drop the mining outpost by the Building Mode option in the item wheel.
The mining outpost has the following functions:
- The Central Terminal lets Jan or one of his changes collect a large number of specific resources from deep deposits.
- A small panel on one side allows you to quickly get back to the base to another mining outpost or travel tower.
- The last panel allows you to charge your suit battery – Energy.
That said, you still have to restore its functionality before you can take advantage of the mining outpost’s capabilities. This is done through the Tata.
Tower: How to establish a connection with the base
If you want to mine resources in a change, you must connect the mining outpost all the way to the base:
- Open the project wheel and select the tower object. You will need to place the first one at the distance from the maximum possible distance from the mining outpost.
- From there, you have to pour in other towers when you return to the base. There must be clear line of sight from one tower to another. This is usually represented by a green cable extending from each structure.
- The power of the mining outpost should be fully restored when the tower is close enough to the generator at the base. The structure itself will become active.
- When you build more mining outposts in one area, you can also connect them to existing towers.
- Later, you can look at a central tower with a larger range than a regular tower.

Travel Tower: Another way to transport
Eventually, you will enter the travel tower. These structures allow you to teleport to other fast travel points in the area. Additionally, they have a terminal that allows you to charge the energy of your suit.
Remember that these also need to be connected to the tower/hub tower to stay active. Try to place them further away from the outpost so that you don't need to run often.
