Horror: Dragons and Dragons are a terrible good time

The city of Watdeep cannot rest. Although various adventurers call it home and stop resting in the yawning portal hotel, the city and its citizens find themselves under attack by dangerous and powerful monsters that scare everyone.
Ravensburger's latest hit cooperate The series is shocking: Dragons and Dragons, crossing with the wizard of the Coast Legend desktop RPG. The result is a game that my friends and I love so much, and despite some stumbling blocks, I still long to play again.

The basic premise of sharing each game is that up to five players conquer a series of monsters by racing on the map, collecting resources, escorting civilians to safety and defeating monsters.

However, if the monster deck is exhausted, or if the horror track hits seven people (the player loses whenever the citizen is killed, the hero is knocked down or the trigger effect triggers it). The extra fun part is taking out the monster. How you deal with each monster is unique, each monster has its own mini-game and players have to work hard before they can go forever.

As a long-time fan and player of D&D, I was immediately interested in box art and board – but it was the monsters and how they worked that really attracted my friends and me.

Players take on roles in staple D&D courses, including fighter, rogue, priest, bard or wizard. In most cases, each character plays the same, except for their special moves, which requires you to roll a 20-side mold (if you don't have a real little dice like yours, the game contains one.
Taking special actions can lead to one of five possible outcomes, while behaviors vary across categories. For example, a bard can attract other participants and citizens to themselves. Fighters can rush to the nearest monsters for battle, and the priest helps by re-rolling the dice during monster attacks. We have some particularly interesting moments when our resident wizard teleports the bystander monster directly to our priest exactly – twice in a row. We laughed at this (at least most of us at least), but that's how you develop when you roll D20.
Granted, we did homemade and adjusted the priest, but let her “inventory” her special actions (basically taking action to hold actions at rounds), allowing her to use her helpful tips at any monster stage until the next round. This makes the character more priest, helping teammates rather than writing rules, which only allows her to use these skills during the monster stage of the turn.
Overall, fear is not an overly complex board game. In my tests, first-time players are usually able to master the game's flow within one or two rounds. Taking action is simple and determines how many new items of monster cards are generated, any events that occur, the citizens that appear, and the content of monster activation is the same.
Some wording about how monsters act has caused some confusion and debate, such as imitating whether the monster moved the number of space indicated on the moving space on the monster card, or if it was only one space when activated. But overall, we figured it out (regardless of whether our decision was right or not), and that worked for us.
This version of horror is the ability to reduce the terror track, which allows players to hold hands and delay them from failure. This is done whenever the monster is defeated, and I find it a good use – especially when introducing new players into the game for the first time, as horror games can be somewhat challenging and require a winning strategy. I appreciate it's easy too no To use, if a horrible veteran finds too many challenges, they can simply ignore this feature.
I'm a little disappointed with one aspect of horror: Dragons and dragons are a small number of monsters you can pick from. The “simple” game requires players to pick from two monsters, while the standard challenge requires three, meaning you will replay these monsters frequently.
Other versions have six or seven monsters, only People with Cthulhu theme were shocked Only four monsters are available. There are many other classic D&D monsters left on the table, which is a shame we can never get a few in the box again.
