Dynasty Warriors: Originated from “massive” DLC, Koei Tecmo announces mysterious remake of “classic series title”

Koei Tecmo is celebrating the 25th anniversary of its dynasty Warriors series and has made numerous announcements. The most important one is to confirm the “large-scale” DLC Dynasty Warriors: Originand a mysterious remake of the “classic series title”.

This is what we have right now, except for the 25th Anniversary video below. Koei Tecmo said further updates about the upcoming games and special anniversary events will be announced gradually on the new website.

The Dynasty Warriors is a tactical action series that spans 20 years and runs over 21 million units worldwide. Traditionally, players have played the role of officers in the romance of the Three Kingdoms while fighting hordes of soldiers in 1,000 games.

The latest game is the aforementioned Dynasty Warriors: Origins, which restores developer Omega Force to the roots of the series, which is considered one of the best entries in the series in years.
