Arrow Video's upcoming 4K recovery in space Lost Restoration is over 30% on Amazon. Lost in space limited edition Fall to $33 ($50) September 2 release. The sci-fi film directed by Stephen Hopkins, starring Gary Oldman and William Hurt, and was not enthusiastically accepted in 1998. Original 1960s TV series This is not a critical success either. Still, both films and series are commercial successes, both of which are considered classic today. Netflix even reimagined the original series in 2018, which lasted for three seasons.
If you like the Netflix series but haven't watched the movie yet, the new 4K Blu-ray version should be the best way to watch it move forward. For long-lost space fans, the limited edition looks like all the classic movie restorations of Arrow videos, and looks like a cool collector’s item.
$33 ($50) | Release September 2
The native 4K (2160p) resolution was negatively restored using the original camera, missing director Stephen Hopkins approval in the 4K Blu-ray version of space. In addition to retaining the original aspect ratio, the 4K version supports high dynamic range – model and HDR10 – and two audio options: lossless stereo and DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 surround sound.
Limited edition comes with reversible sleeves and cover art: one side has original drama posters, while the other side (pictured above) is a brand new illustration unique to this version – it looks great. You will also find an illustrated brochure with Neil Sinyard’s reviews, original production notes, and multiple articles from the film that originally appeared among American photographers.

Lost in space that cleverly adapts to elements on TV shows and adjust them for the big screen. The film retains the core premise of the TV series – thanks to the plot of Gary Oldman’s traitor Dr. Zachary Smith, the Robinsons were trapped in distant galaxies and added a breakthrough visual at the time with new story elements. Lost an ensemble cast in space, including William Hurt, Mimi Rogers, Matt LeBron and Heather Graham. It was a big movie in the new cinema series at the time of its premiere, marking the studio's history of making low-budget horror movies and well-received independent films, and entering the box office blockbuster.
