Back in the 90s, Todd McFarlane's Egg Painting It is one of the hottest comics on the shelves. Image Comics flagship series, Spawn's popularity pours into mainstream pop culture and comes with its own toy series Animated HBO seriesAnd – Perhaps most notably, the 1997 feature film adaptation of Michael Jai White as the titular anti-hero. Now, nearly 18 years later, this grim superhero movie is gaining Limited Edition 4K Release from Arrow VideoThis is a 4K cult classic restoration.
Spawn Limited Edition includes tailoring for drama and directors as well as premium packaging, new artwork and some collections. Bookings opened last week for $50, but Amazon now offers good discounts, bringing prices down to $38. Spawn's 4K limited edition will be released on October 7.

Arrow Video restores the drama and directorial cuts with native 4K (2160p) resolution using the original camera negative effects. Both versions support high dynamic range of Dolby Vision and HDR10. Audio options include DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 and lossless stereo.
Limited edition packed in reversible sleeves with new artwork. You will also get an illustration brochure with fresh reviews and double-sided folding posters.
The main difference between drama and directorial editing is the tone, as many violence are removed to ensure PG-13 ratings. Besides that, the director’s cuts took less than three minutes than the drama, but the extra violence pushed it toward R-class territory.

Spawn tells the story of Al Simmons, a ruthless black action soldier. Simmons was killed and murdered for his commander, Martin Sheen, who was sent to hell for sin, but he was resurrected on earth by the devil Malebolgia as part of a grand plan to initiate the book of Revelation. Simmons is full of hell's powers and finds himself torn apart between pursuing revenge, dark powers and redemption.
While it's not as good as the Blade, which arrived a year later and is credited to Spawn for its modern superhero movie, it's still a big fan of Spawn. It's not afraid to be a comic book movie when it mixes impressive practical effects with groundbreaking CGI to bring the characters to life. The film, with Michael Jai White as a tortured anti-hero, is opposed by John Leguizamo's clown character, who can become a terrible offender when he returns to the corner.
