The long-awaited independent sequel Hollow Knight: Silk Sometime before the end of 2025, there will be public play on Gamescom on Microsoft's Xbox Booth.
Silksong sounds like it will be one of the booth’s biggest draws, as well as the first public outing of the Rog Xbox Ally and Rog Xbox Ally X – also the third-six-friendly portable Xbox console later this year.
Outside World 2Xbox’s biggest first-party game for the rest of the year is not Call of Duty, while also getting a “drama experience” which sounds like a demo that can be let go.
As far as other playable stuff goes, if you don't want to play the preview of the game at home, Obsidian's Garden Sequel Rooting 2 will be there. What’s even more exciting is that Ninja Gaiden 4 gets its first public hands-on appearance, while Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 has “exciting urban renewal.”
Passionate about playing the new Indiana Jones and the big circle DLC? We are ours, although at the Gamescom showroom, Microsoft just shows the basic game. (Good, but, well, we played last year.)
Meanwhile, from non-Xbox Studios, Microsoft has a long list of playable demos – including Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater and Borderlands 4, as well as the Xbox version of the final Fantasy 16 and the Xbox version of the Final Fantasy 7 Remake Integrade.
If you are visiting Gamescom, the world's largest video game show, Xbox will live in a regular house in Hall 7 in Koelnmesse, Cologne, Germany from August 21 to 24. Or, please keep an eye on IGN's IGN to cover directly from the showroom.
