New game and how to work in wuchang: Fallen Feathers

You're curious about the new game Wuchang: Feather? This mode is a staple in soul style and role-playing games, allowing you to restart your adventure with the good stuff you find during the first play. That said, there are some warnings that might be surprised at how Wuchang handles this concept. Oh, before we proceed, please note that this article contains Small spoiler.

Expectations in the new game and in Wuchang: Fallen Feathers

After completing the campaign and achieving the ending, the new game plus mode will be unlocked. After the credit is finished, you will be sent back to the main menu. Unfortunately, we are not allowed to display images for the time being, but you should see an option called “causal reversal”, a term used by the game for new game Plus modes.

Should you start a new game plus mode?

Here's the surprising part: You're actually force After defeating the game, start Wuchang: Fallen Fater's new game plus mode.

It doesn't matter if you choose “Cause and Effect Reversal”, “Continue” or “Load Game”. All of these options bring you back to the introduction of the game, making a new game plus running. Worse, your original saved file will also be overwritten.

This can be a bit problematic, especially if you missed some items or spells during the initial playback. This is also different from how other games handle this feature – ie has the option to try new games with the main menu plus new games, but you can still load the original save.

Is there a way to avoid new game plus mode?

If you are not ready for the new game Plus in Wuchang: Fallen Feathers, then you will need to save a backup before you can end the campaign. This is how we work around for the PC (Steam) version of the game:

• We exit the game before we get the finale, so we can back up the save state.
• The files/folders you need are in the “C:\Users\(Username)\AppData\local\project_plague” directory.
• Copy the entire Save folder and place it elsewhere.

If you need to restore to your previous state, just place the “Save” folder in the “Project_Plague” directory and overwrite everything. Then, start Wuchang from the main menu and select “Load Game”.

Saving the file might say “causality reversal 1” – i.e. new game +1- but it's fine. This is mainly due to the cloud functionality. Once loaded, you should find yourself in the same place as the original save.

What continues and what changes are added to the new game?

Here are your expectations for the new game plus mode in Wuchang: Fallen Feathers:

• You can carry all the equipment/gears, red mercury, unlocking skills, spells, temperance needles, etc.
• This time the enemy will be more difficult.
