Monster Hunter Wilds’ summer season features water guns, swimsuits and giant corn guns

Monster Hunter Wilderness The upcoming Flamefete Festival celebrates summer, and the seasonal update tradition of the series continues. The event will take place from July 23 to August 6 and offers a large collection of unique content to complement the hottest time of the year.

Typically, the event will be in the game for about two weeks and begins with a new summer themed mission, but the festival itself will be held at the Grand Hub. During the festival, most previous event tasks will also return.

If all of this makes people particularly thirsty, the Summer Festival update will also add new swimsuit outfits to Hunters and many support NPCs, including Alma, Erik and Gemma. Players can purchase DLC packs starting July 23, which permanently unlocks these cosmetics outside the event.
