Remedies outline the next steps for its multi-person control derivatives FBC: Fireproofpromising big changes.
This is after the remedy is issued a candid statement last month After the FBC, it admitted that “not everything is good”: Firebreak's mid-June release.
FBC: Firebreak launched as a paid game on June 17 and goes straight to Xbox Game Pass and PlayStation Plus. Calling the launch “exciting and disturbing time”, remedy Tell It heard the feedback “loud and clear feedback” and admitted: “It’s obvious that there are some features that need improvement and they will improve.”
Since its launch, the studio has released “four patches to improve feedback from games and some addresses (players). Now that games are in real time, our community has played a major role in shaping the future of the experience. It’s just the beginning.”
The remedial then warned that it could slow down its release of patches and updates now as it “focused more development on the first major update that arrived in late September”.
“We've seen a lot of players get into the game and leave within the first hour. That's because our first hour can be frustrating; you're feeling ineffective and confused about what to do. This needs improvement.” renew Posted to Steam.
“For many of you who have played FBC: Firebreak, it doesn’t seem so exciting to focus on the opening experience, but to keep the game healthy (and your docking fast), we need to bring more first-time people better than before.”
To this end, remedial measures are working to help new players understand the control universe and where you are in it and balance the player who plays control with the player who doesn’t. The remedy believes that better “narrative onboarding” can be achieved by playing introductory videos. From there, there will be better tutorials to teach you the core mechanics and features, and leave some secrets to find independent tutorials, and pop-up tips will be introduced in playable tutorials.
Next is Gunplay – “Our current upgrades can make guns feel weak early”, so the plan is “removing all universal upgrades from the device and taking a picnic with everything you need from the start to playable versions.” To that end, the remedy is developing a MOD system that lets you adjust your weapons – you'll expect more as we approach September. There are also great changes along the way and their content.
“To achieve this, we are replacing the purge and corruption rating with prefabricated, exciting (you have to say our promise now).”
“We are eliminating our least interesting experiences, focusing on our best experiences, and adding brand new modes, and planning to add more plans in the future. As part of this change, we have also reevaluated our docking field process to make it clearer and make it more efficient to segment the player pool to ensure more and better matches.” We should expect to mix the placement of items like keys and ammunition stations as well to better keep us on our toes.
“As we hoped, we are driving a lot of improvements and changes to the game for the first major update to the game,” Resedy concluded. “Some of these ideas are improvements that we couldn’t add before launching, but all of them are decided and developed based on what we hear from you (listen to feedback) and see from you (see the data).
“We are even more excited about these changes and delivery that are even beyond what we originally planned, but the changes now mean changes. We need to look at what works for you and then receive your comments before we can make sure we want to determine the right thing to prioritize the right thing. So while we are still planning the next major update for the winter, and the next focus and specific focus and features after that, and more research is done here. Responsible for the research of the first major update.”
Despite launching the IC, FBC: Firebreak More than 1 million players. “FBC: Firebreak is an engaging collaborative shooter that, despite its good looks, has not maintained fun depth for a long time.” IGN's FBC: Fire Protection Reviewgrant it 6/10.
Remedial measures recently confirmed its plans for ongoing supportincluding 2025, there will be two new jobs (tasks). Developers say more updates will arrive in 2026. The release of all playable content releases (such as Jobs) will be free to all players. Players can choose to buy cosmetics, but none of these items will affect the gameplay and there is no limited time rotation or daily login.
It's a busy time for Alan Wake Developer Remedy, and the remedy is traveling with many items. And FBC: Fireproof, it's working on Control 2 and Max Payne and Max Payne 2 Remake Compilation.
