Games Workshop's Big Summer Warhammer Preview In 2025, there's an attractive look at the upcoming slate of desktop warfare companies and we've rounded up everything to help you catch up with you just in case you missed the live stream.
There are Warhammer 40,000, Warhammer Age, Killer, Warhammer: Horus Heresy, Legion Imperialism, Warhammer Underworld, and even Surprise Space Marines 2 Revealed.
The on-site report is now over.
Votann's League
The proceedings reveal the votann league (Warhammer 40,000 views on the space dwarves). This is a huge plastic extension, the largest plastic extension since the faction was founded, which includes new troops, new artillery, new heroes and new damn intelligence. There is a new combat patrol (Army starter or set of elastic force piled up existing units) and check out the Buri Aegnirssen of expert Tyranid Hunter below. Yes, that was the overlord above his head.
Supporting this release is a new alliance of the voting characters code, which contains legends and new rules.
Warhammer: Old World
Next is the revelation of Warhammer: Old World. The brand new unit is about to become Khemri's grave. There are two new arcane journals, the first known as the Angry War, which is described as “a very cool way to look at the legend of the Old World”, and it's the second dawn of the Storm Dragon.
Warhammer: The Age of Sigma
Heading towards the Sigma era that celebrates its 10th anniversary, there are two factions from the great Death Alliance, with new units, new battles and new army regulations.
We have an appetite for meat, death fighter, and a new mini support: High Falconer Felgryn. The Hawaii Watchmen also participated in the Carnivore Army. Nighthaunt's death battle is huge, full of legends and “some important defensive hobbies.” Check out the following wonderfully named Lord Vitriolic below:
Hur Woodman of Harp
It's a big one: the chaotic short faction returns to the Sigma era and becomes Helsmos of Helsmos. This new faction includes the hell queue with the Hanging Feldstone Spear, the War Dictator, the Ruler Engine and the Torture Bangladesh War Machine. As you would expect, the kit includes a new fighter.
Warhammer: The underworld
Then, Games Workshop revealed Warhammer: Spitewood extension for the underworld. Spitewood is designed to expand into the Embergard box set, which contains two brand new fronts, two new competitor decks, a new double panel and a token board representing new feature tokens representing Aqua Ghyranis sediments.
Legion Empire
Games Workshop left Sigmar's age and revealed new tanks for Horus Heresy games, including the Typhon Heavy Siege Tank Squadron, the Cerberus Heavy Tank Destroyer and the Mastadon Attack Transport, which was described as “30,000 equivalent to Siege trots”.
Warhammer: Horus Heresy
MKII Assault Squad and Tactica Magazine: Saturn's Forging.
Black Library
The search has been confirmed! Fans speculateWarhammer 40,000's “The Search Period of Warhammer” is a novel series that has begun with Chris Wraight's “Ashes of the Imperium.” This multi-book series aims to reveal the occurrence of the Empire and the Legion of Traitors after the end of Horus' heresy. The Empire's ashes will be released later this year.
Warhammer 40,000
40K is getting five new space ocean characters: Vulkan He's'Stan (Salamanders); Darnath Lysander (Imperial Fist); Eisen Guard; Caanok var (Iron Hand); and suboden khan (White Scar). It is worth noting that Aethon Shaan is the new chapter master for the Ravens defender, replacing Kayvaan Shrike, who decided to quit the top job and operate from the shadows.
There are a series of combat patrols that will be released with the characters of Empire Fist, White Scar, Iron Hand, Crow Defender and Salamand.
Warhammer 40,000: Space Navy 2
Games Workshop announced the first official licensed wearable space marine helmet ever. This is the MKX helmet Lieutenant worn by Lieutenant Titus in the Space Ocean video game series. The interior lens illuminates!
Killing Team
Games Workshop has announced a brand new Kill Team Box package that includes Necrons and The DeathWatch, which Games Workshop says is probably the most requested Kill Team release ever. Grave World sees the Killer Team “returning to close gameplay, groundbreaking in the Killer Team: Entering the Dark, this time brand new, Killzone with a shimmering portal, teleportation pads and regenerated walls.”
The book “The Grave World Archive” contains the background knowledge of the two killing teams and the Somerster Tomb World they are fighting for, “a decisive showdown between killing killer Vascovian and Crightretinue of Amherra.”
That's it! We've finished all the content announced in 2025 by Games Workshop's big summer warhammer preview show. What are your highlights?
