Cyberpunk 2077 Update 2.3 launches on July 17, and CD Projekt has been confirmed on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X and S, but there is no Nintendo Switch 2.
CD Projekt developers said in the live broadcast that the studio needs more time to handle the Switch 2 version of the game. There is no mention of the release date, but it is said to be released “soon after”. Patch notes, each Cyberpunk websitebelow.
Paweł Sasko, deputy gaming director at Cyberpunk 2, said the patch focuses on vehicles and customization. Adrien Jouannet, chief designer at Support Studio Virtuos, helped CD Projekt with the Cyberpunk 2077 update, confirming that 2.3 added three new cars (including the all-new Yaiba Semimaru from 2077 Cyberpunk: 2077 Cyberpunk Simmaru: Kicking Down Comic) and a new motorcycle, the first custom Motorcy Motorcycle in Chame in Game in Game in New Motorsizus in Game. The new vehicle is unlocked by completing small tasks. Sasco said triggering tasks would be “intuitive”. New missions are not 100% completed for the achievement of the hunter.
Elsewhere, Update 2.3 has added a new AutoDrive feature that allows you to drive for free. Universe, AutoDrive hits all vehicles in the game with a software update. You can set the mark, sit down and let the car drive for you. It is worth noting that you want to use automatic training that you drive on the road and follow traffic rules, so you want to stop at a red light.
If you are attacked, it will automatically stop automatically so that you can handle the battle. Sasco said CD Projekt fine-tuned the feature to make combat unlikely, so it sounds like you need to actively drive to fight to trigger it.
There is also a wandering mode where the vehicle will drive endlessly autonomously during free roaming, which is fun for explorers. It is beneficial that Delamain AI taxi companies can be hired for automatic training, so if you prefer, he can drive there.
This comes with a movie camera you can activate while driving, allowing you to watch Night City in a more cinematic way. Sasco said it was inspired by a fan-made video that drove in Night City for hours on end. You can use photo mode when using AutoDrive.
Speaking of photo mode, there is a new feature of 2.3. Now you can change the time of day and on-site weather. Photo mode also has 27 new NPCs, as well as new costumes and natural poses for the main characters. CD Projekt laughed at fans' new photo mode game.
In terms of technology, PC gamers can expect AMD FidelityFX Super Resolution 3.1 (FSR 3.1) framework generation and Intel XESS 2.0 releases 2.3 support tomorrow. Cyberpunk 2077 Will be Sasco said it supports FSR 4, but it will be released with future AMD drivers. However, HDR10+ games are now properly supported. VRR will also enter the console version of Cyberpunk 2077.
Finally, CD Projekt talks about the already announced version of Cyberpunk 2077, which will be released tomorrow along with 2.3 (July 17). There is no mention of the high-profile new game Plus, nor is there any important new missions or characters.
Is 2.3 the final update of Cyberpunk 2077? CD Projekt said the previously released patch attracted a line under the nearly five-year-old game, so maybe there is more. During the live broadcast, Sasco didn't say anything. Can Cyberpunk 2077 have new updates in this December explosion to meet its fifth anniversary?
CD Projekt recently confirmed in the long run Cyberpunk 2 has entered the development stage before development. But don't hold your breath – the developer recommends not releasing it until the end of 2030 or even early 2031.
