Square Enix reportedly developed Dragon Quest 7: A Fragment of the Forgotten Past Remake

Dragon Quest Publisher Square Enix is set to restart another fan favorite installment Dragon Quest 7: Fragments of the Forgotten Past.
according to mp1stthe internal files leaked to the socket detail many upcoming unannounced projects, including the remake of the seventh Mainline Dragon Quest game.
Interestingly, although other remakes have been explicitly marked as HD Remake, this is not the case here – or at least not as MP1ST says – this time, it's not just a graphic overhaul or a remake of re-staining. It is exactly what we are not sure about what this will take, though, and it may take a while to get official confirmation.
Leaked documents indicate that we will be playing this new version of Dragon Quest 7 sometime between early 2026 and early 2027 to comply with Square Enix's next fiscal year and financial forecasts.
