The Sims 4: Charming Nature – Diseases and How to Heal Them

Another new extension to The Sims 4 has arrived, and nature has fascinated EA's long-term life simulation. This includes introducing a whole new fairy tale-like mystery genre, new ways to live on the land rather than in the house, and – related to this article, this is a whole new way to get sick for your Sims, called Disease.
If the standard illness in the Sims 4 doesn’t appear often and is easily cured with a universal drug, the illness is a whole new category of pain that requires a specific treatment, or helps from magical figures with the ability to repair the illness. Fortunately, diseases are more annoying than dangers – they are indeed not serious enough to kill SIMs on their own, but their effects can be so destructive that they are usually better handled faster than later.

How diseases work
Diseases are infectious diseases that may be caused by capturing from another simulated population, tortured by fairies, or emotionally losing balance. The contagious factor is real, because hanging around the same location with the infected SIM card is also likely to infect your SIM card. And, not only direct contact can attract you – just like real illness, interacting with what the patient touches can make your SIM card sick.
Again, emotionally out of balance – which is indicated by the New Balance meter in the simulation table – deleting your SIM card will most likely only develop disease without any extra help, but it also makes your SIM card more vulnerable to attacks that capture something from another simulation. Similarly, there exist Balance can enable your SIM to reach natural or capture disease from another simulated natural. Think of the emotional balance meter as a measure of the immune system of SIM.
What to do when your SIM card has a disease
When they catch something, you can deal with simulated diseases in several different ways. First of all, do nothing and let the disease run. Although this sounds stupid, there are some diseases Do Have positive side effects – a magnet like luck, which makes infected SIM lucky by stealing luck from other Sims around. Likewise, Gnome baits cause the Oightient garden gnome to lay eggs like Harvestfest. While I don't usually like dwarfs, they already have a whole new use in the charm expansion of nature – boy molds can attract them with fairy tale dust to bring them to life.
So if you think the disease's upward space is worth the hassle, you can make it work. Otherwise, there are four ways to end the disease immediately, all relatively simple:
- Access the naturopathy using your phone, which will cure 1,500 Simoleons for your SIM card
- Ask any fairy to cure the disease – although fairy cannot cure Own By magic.

- Heal yourself on the pharmacist's desk
Make your own disease treatment
Making disease therapy is a relatively easy process because they only require common ingredients you can find, and that's because disease cure is the first thing your SIM card will learn when learning pharmacy skills – disease therapy requires level 1 or 2, so there is no need to grind. This is a very good thing because even fairies can magically heal other The Sims, they can’t do this through the diseases they suffer.
To acquire the skills of a pharmacist, SIM only needs to use any pharmacist table to “study pharmacist therapy” and then after a moment they will be able to create some disease treatments – as the rest only requires skill level 2, just spend a few minutes with the time around the Apothecary Table, you can make the rest before your Sim can make the simulation table.
And, since these remedies are low-level recipes, you can forage as you like by clicking on any grass in any Sims 4 World or buying ingredients using the options on the Apothecary table, making its ingredients very easy to find. None of these ingredients is expensive, so buying them shouldn't be a problem for those who want to be right.

- Burning passion: Make the infected simulated population very gentle and likely to burn nearby objects occasionally
- Creating impulse: Giving a drowsy mood while also making infected SIM improves making things.
- Emotional: Suppressing the emotions of infected SIM will also passively do the same for any nearby Sims.
- Dwarf Bait: Make the dwarf lay eggs near infected SIM
- Greenie Meanie: At the same time, the infected SIM is good at gardening and is very random.
- Luck magnet: Make infected SIM lucky at the expense of those around you.
- Simoleon Hot: Makes infected Sim cough.
- Voice sinus: Their sneezes are so powerful that they can occasionally destroy things, but SIM can improve convenience and make things easier to fix.
