Pokémon Go developer admits Golden Pokéstop issue ruins Game's large 9th anniversary event and is now investigating a “fix”

Pokémon Go's development team has now admitted that the 9th anniversary of the game is plaguing the game's slut in a few days after players first reported the issue.
The game's current 9th birthday prank is focused on Gimmighoul, a coin-loving little demon spirit Pokémon, usually only connecting yours Go Pokémon Account to Nintendo Switch, copy Pokémon Scarlet or Purple.
Now, to celebrate the latest anniversary of the popular smartphone games, Gimmighoul has a new costume variant and is also used in its shiny version for the first time – although the mechanics who gather resources to develop the creature cannot run as expected.
Gimmighoul has a unique evolutionary requirement that players collect 999 Gimmighoul coins before they can satisfy the appetite of a desire creature so that it can become its evolutionary theory Gholdengo. Collecting these coins is a challenge, and many players have a long way to go compared to the amount required for the years after Gimmighoul introduced. It is therefore that the current events are so widely expected.
Gimmighoul coins can be collected in Pokémon Go in two ways – capture Gimmighoul itself from using the coin bag function (requires fuss) and connect the phone to the Nintendo Switch/Switch 2, or use it every time you use it) or rotate Golden Pokéstops.
Usually, golden pokéstops appear only when activated by gold bait ( return Need to make a fuss and connect to the switch, five times in total), however, during the current event, any Pokéstop can be turned into golden Pokéstop randomly in a short period of time. This means the incident is the easiest way to collect Gimmighoul coins in a long time, or should be – in addition to the great frustration currently experiencing in a way that sends fans to social media.

Imagine seeing a golden pokéstop, hiking to it, just seeing it return to the regular pokéstop as it approaches desperately. Then imagine seeing another golden pokéstop somewhere else, and the same thing happens over and over again.
Currently, this is the experience of many Pokémon Go fans as they hunt Golden Pokéstops without success just because they seem desperate when approaching.
“I wasted my entire lunch break and thought it was just me,” wrote a player from Reddit Thesilphroad, a top Pokémon Go fan.
Another said, “It's so annoying. It's too hot to walk to stop, it's gone.”
“It happened 6 times today. I gave up on a day,” the third time wrote. (you are not alone.)
Not surprisingly, yes, it's really a mistake, the game's development team has now admitted – but it's actually just a Visual question. In other words, after all, the golden pokéstop is not hopeless, but it is no longer visible. So yes, those Pokémon you walk away are actually still the places to get Gimmighoul coins.
“The golden Pokéstops turn blue before spinning,” read Description of the problem On the Pokémon Go Help Center website. “Problem Description: When approaching a golden pokéstop, it may turn blue before spinning. This is a visual error and does not affect your ability to collect Gimmighoul coins. Problem Status: Investigation.”
Several other complaints about this event, for example, even if you do find the golden Pokéstop, the chances of Gimmighoul coins falling appear to be lower than those of previous events. Again, it didn't seem to open its shiny version until mid-afternoon that day – though this error still requires the game's community to discover and report its reporting to be more standard before it is corrected.
The 9th anniversary event of Pokémon Go lasts until Sunday, July 6, for fans to continue trying to collect more Gimmighoul coins. Meanwhile, affected fans suggest that the game should do more to help them with treasure hunt now.
