How to survive new enemy types
2.0 adds new biota specificity and late enemy types to the game.
- Plague spitter: A new, specially infected desert zombie that can vomit a bunch of insects that will attack players
- Frost Claw: A new, specially infected snow zombie with boulder attacks from long distance boulders
- Blue Zombies Charged: A new high-rise radiating blue zombie that turns, attacks and runs faster than the radiated green zombie
- Hell Orange Zombies: A new high-rise zombie radiating orange category, slower and more tankier than radiated green zombies
for Spit on the plaguemake sure to use melee weapons against the group instead of the gun.
about Frost Claw It is the enemy's long-range rock throwing attack. Always pay attention to your surroundings and stay in the snow biome. You don't want to stay still while mining coal and hit one of the boulders. This is the Insta-kill in the early stages of the game.
Charging blue Zombies are fast and healthy. You may need to use a gun like an assault rifle or an LMG to quickly remove it. Just be aware that electricity doesn't seem to be shocked as long as other zombie types, meaning traps and coma batons won't be that effective.
this Hell Orange Zombies are slow and built like tanks, but they are the most terrifying when approaching the base. They can cause a lot of blocking damage, so you want to quickly remove them before they damage your structure.
