Mamoru Hosoda has established herself as one of the best modern anime directors, directing several acclaimed films over the past 20 years. Several of his films have received new Steelbook Edition 4K Blu-ray releases over the past few months, and soon, his first film, The Girl Skipping Time, will join the series. While there is no release date set, the list is available on Amazon and we expect it will be available soon. Meanwhile, there are several other Hosoda movies that can be pre-ordered and purchased, including Wolf's Kids, Summer War and Bell. We have compiled all Hosoda 4K Steelbook Blu-ray in the list below.

The Girl Who Skipped Time is Hosoda's first film, originally released in 2001. It follows Makoto Konno, a teenager who gains the power of time travel. At first, she used her abilities to solve rash problems, but she soon learned that the processing schedule would have enormous consequences. This limited edition 4K Blu-ray release includes an exclusive Steelbook Case.
The film’s bonus material has not been confirmed yet, but the previous Blu-ray releases for girls who crossed the time, including a ton of great extra features, and some of them are likely to be folded into the new 4K Steelbook version.
While the girls of the 4K Steelbook Blu-ray during the Time Travel are listed on Amazon, it has no release date and is currently unavailable. However, we expect it will be stocked again soon. Meanwhile, there are several other hosoda movies available for pre-order and are available for purchase now.

A 4K steel copy of Hosoda's 2012 film Wolf Children will be released on August 5 and is available for pre-order on Amazon for $37. The film tells the story of Hana, a human woman who falls in love with a werewolf and eventually gives birth to two half-children. After her husband's tragic death, Hana moved to an old country house to raise the child with this touching story about her mother, loss and family. Special features include comment tracks from actors and staff, promotional materials and more.

Earlier this year, Hosuda's Summer War also received an exclusive 4K Steelbook version on Amazon. Summer War follows Kenji, a young student who is addicted to virtual reality. Kenji's friend Natsuki incorporated him into his plan as his girlfriend, but things got into trouble when the Rogue AI plan stole his online identity and formed him a real-world disaster. With the upcoming online revelation, Kenji and Natsuki's family united to save the day and clear his name. Amazon's proprietary Summer Wars 4K Steel Book Blu-ray includes movies, collection of steel book boxes, and special features such as interviews with actors and Hawsorda.

Finally, there is Hosoda's latest movie Belle's 4K Steelbook Collector. This was released in 2022 and sold for $45.49 on Amazon. Belle follows Suzu, a high school student who lives a double life. In fact, she is a shy teenager who lives in a rural village – but online, she is known as Belle, a very popular virtual reality singer. When a mysterious beast collapses into one of her online concerts, Suzu embarks on a journey to discover the truth behind the creature and her true self.
This 4K Collector version of Blu-ray includes a 60-page art book, posters, stickers and art cards, as well as special features such as behind-the-scenes documentaries, music videos, and interviews.
