Netease Games announced a new game called Blood Message, which describes it as the first “AAA” single player experience developed in Naraka: Bladepoint Studio 24 Entertainment. During the last few years of the Tang Dynasty, the game followed an unknown messenger and his young son who embarked on a 1,000-mile journey to the center of the Tang Empire.
The trek was full of dangers, seeing the heroes encountering difficult terrain and cruel encirclement on the land. A trailer for the game has also been released, which includes a mix of gameplay and movies that you can watch below.
Netease says players can expect to blend stealth and survival mechanics and a vast landscape inspired by East and Central Asia, “movie storytelling” and a battle of reality. The company’s core says blood information is about how ordinary people leave their marks in history. The focus of this story is that the father and his son find themselves in trouble between duty and family in a collapsed world.
“We are bringing players to a new generation of high adventure and blood information,” Netease executive Zhipeng Hu said in a press statement. “As our first single player focused entirely on NetEase games, after two decades of in-depth dedication to the gaming industry, we are ready to provide players around the world with a truly epic and cinematic experience.”
