Blog Andrew Joseph 17 Jun , 2025 0

Now all major studios and publishers reveal their biggest announcements with numerous summer presentations. But IGN's game summer continues! We've failed The biggest and best trailer of the seasonbut now we continue to explore bigger issues. Which games get us the most excited and count down the days until they are finally released?
That's why we're here today to highlight our most anticipated games…and identify our most hyped games. Our top picks are selected from a pool that includes every reveal of the various shows we’ve seen, and the games we’re able to practice with. We also consider the enthusiasm you, our readers and viewers have shown to many of the newly announced titles – so we have weighed the comments and trailer Viewcounts as well as our own personal excitement.
But before we get our top picks, let's take a moment to reflect on some of the other amazing games we've seen and played over the past few weeks. Here are some of our other favorites:
5. Ninja Gaden 4

Soulslikes may have dominated action RPGs over the past decade, but thanks to games like Ninja Gaiden 4. Ninja Gaiden 4. Team Ninja and Platinumgames, two of Japan's best character action developers are in this direct sequel Ninja Gaiden 3.
Thanks to a stylish new trailer, the high-speed actor jumps into the scene in style, but we 25 minutes of the game Let's want to play a lot. Super fast blood, which will make you feel like the ultimate killing machine, and you can certainly figure out the enemy as long as you have agile enemy efforts. Fortunately, we don't have to wait too long, as Ninja Giden 4 will stand out on all platforms on October 21, 2025.
4. Silent Hill Remake

At the end of Konami's Press Start Ivestream, it might be just a logo and some nostalgic music, but the team of Bloober, the developer of Silent Hill 2 Remake, will be Take the original Silent Hill as your next collaboration with Konami Enough Send all our head rotations.
The first Silent Hill unveils one of the most terrifying and popular video game franchises in history, but while it was ahead of the times in many ways when it came out in 1998, it certainly didn’t keep up with it. Bloober's remake of the same care and consideration of the sequel is certainly an exciting prospect.
3. Miracle Tokon: Battle Soul

Put Marvel vs. Capcom aside and there is a new superhero fighting game in town. The biggest surprise of PlayStation's latest game is ARC System Works' Miracle Tokona 4V4 TAG team fighting game that includes miracle heroes like Iron Man and Captain America and is reimagined through Japanese lenses. Arc System Works’ work has been praised for its visually compelling and competitive fighting game, but thanks to Disney’s power, Marvel Tokon can take the beloved but New York-based developer to new heights. The details and depth of the mechanic shown in the long reveal mean miracle, miracle, a few inches later, our excitement for another superhero fighting game announced in the game summer – Invincible and. Also, the combat soul is 4v4 instead of 3v3, so a few extra heroes can only help us further our expectations.
2.007 First Light

IO Interactive has finally released the long-standing 007 game and – Surprise! – Looks interesting. While the developer's usually fit for Assassin Agent 47 may be a ruthless killing machine, young James Bond is here 007 First Light When he set out to be one of the world's most famous secret agents, he looked like he had spent his whole life (admittedly, this mission seemed paradoxical).
trailer Everything James Bond game should have: exotic venues, sports cars, laser watches, light flirting and lots of explosions. Given that IOI has said that we should expect the same degrees of freedom as in the Assassination Trilogy, and 007 First Light is a game we can’t wait to want (plus the 2026 release window, which is likely the first big bond since Daniel Craig succumbed). Perhaps the only reason is not our most anticipated game game is that we have sadly not had the chance to play it yet and therefore cannot say its quality with certainty. We'll cross fingers at Gamescom in 2025…
So here are four different sizes of revelations that make us hype in future games. But, big games – the one we’re most anticipated – will come soon and we’re ready to play. And, based on our love for our ex, we hope it will continue the legacy of the series and offer one of the best survival horror experiences of this generation. Our most anticipated game since the game summer is…
1. Resident Evil Requiem

Capcom released an epic bait and switch during the 2025 Summer Competition Festival, suggesting that there is no official Resident Evil announcement as part of the show, only to reveal Resident Evil in a few minutes. After all, I want the delayed jump fear to be part of the RESI recipe.
The next main line entry in the popular Survival Horror franchise is to play a new hero, Grace Ashcroft Have a close relationship with the characters in the forgotten Resident Evil game. What's even more exciting, however, Capcom revealed that Resident Evil Requiem will be In the first and third person At launch, the best of both worlds is combined in the modern Resident Evil game. We have a chance A brief preview of playing Resident Evil Requiem How the first person focuses on pure horror while playing the third person makes a deep impression.
Given her background as an FBI analyst, Grace also seems to be a compelling new character behind the computer. This will make her (and us) even more frightened when we face to face with Requiem's new stalker monster, a clumsy character whose weird frame fills the entire corridor.
All of this, plus Capcom's continuous great game winswhich means we are excited to play the next Mainline Resi game when resident Evil Requiem is released on February 27, 2026 on Consoles and PC.
Resident Evil Requiem is our most anticipated game, but what are you? You can tell us in the comments below, or join us tomorrow when the announcement ranked the largest in the IGN community list.
