The 10 Most Expensive Competitor Cards Currently
Blog Andrew Joseph 13 Jun , 2025 0

I've been following Pokémon TCG: the latest extensions to Scarlet and Violet, Destined to be a competitor, Things finally started to be resolved. A few weeks ago, Destined to compete in singles market The whole place was bouncing.
Overnight, some cards doubled their prices, making it hard to tell what hype is and what will happen. Now, the price feels more stable.
TL; DR: The most expensive competitor card
Some people dipped it. Some Destined competitor Bangers just cruising at market prices. It feels like we finally see what these cards are In fact worth.
These are the ten most expensive cards at present. Several of them are legal on the deck. Some are pure collector bait. Let's break down my preferences for everyone and how the price of the dust is now starting to solidify.
Team Rocket's Mewtwo Ex -231/182
This is the hottest card for a while and it remains close to the market. What is artwork to me. mewtwo It looks like it is about to explode, floating in this dim lab setting, everything around it glows.
Unless you run a full rocket manufacturing, the ability is hard to use, but once it is active, erasing the ball gives you some serious strength. Even if the market calms down, it is definitely still the top attraction.
Team Rocket's Tyranitar (Pre-issuer)
Tyranitar staff have already come down a lot. It peaked earlier this month, but now it is under the market and probably should be. Art is tenacious and suitable for the atmosphere.
Slowly chips on the opponent's basic knowledge, the main attack is just a heavy swing, which has some interference. It is not flashy, but stable. Even if not a major player on the deck, employee stamps can provide it with the value of that collector.
Cynthia's Garchomp Ex (232/182)
This card is one of the few cards that remain consistent. Art is clean and dramatic Cynthia and Galconp sports. Corkscrew Dive can help you with card draws, while Draconic Buster can swing at 260, which is a big number. I like it because it looks good in the adhesive and actually fits in the fixing deck as well. It's not a spike, but it stays stable, which says a lot.
Team Rocket's Moltres Ex (229/182)
moltres Prices have risen rapidly and are now falling on the market. Still one of the most unique cards in the collection. If you build correctly, art is an incineration of aggressive, dark and evil that can completely erase your opponent's active Pokémon. It's not a plug, but it's one of the craziest rewards in the collection. Definitely an interesting card.
Misty's Gyarados (pre-issuer)
This is a strange thing, soaring nearly 200 times before going backwards. This is mainly about collecting cards. Art is the complete 1st generation backwards, and shocking panic is a totally chaotic move that can hit huge or powerless. I'm not something I'm in the competition, but if you like Fog and Girardos This is easy to appreciate.
Ethan's Ho-Oh Ex (230/182)
This is one of them The more you look, the more you stare at it. The gold and movement in art are very clean. Golden Flame lets you fuel Pokémon on the bench, making it a powerful support option in the fire deck. This isn't a big organizer in most builds, but it can help your board get together. Prices dropped slightly, but still felt like a solid value.
Team Rocket's Mewtwo Ex (240/182)
It makes sense, it makes sense. This is the same card as another one mewtwo, but in super rare form. The art is simpler, but the foil still pops up. If you want to use the card without stressing wearing, you can grab this version. Feel fair at this price.
Ethan's Typhlosion (Pre-issuer)
Still sitting on the market, which makes me think collectors are sticking with it. Artworks are just domination. Tiger and lion It looks like it's fired and ready to burn things off. If you tend toward Ethan's adventure card, Buddy Blast can be a great extension. I mainly see people hiding it in Binders, but it also has a place in the right deck.
Rockets' Nidoking Ex (233/182)
There is little change here. Still in the market and quite stable. I really like it nidoking ex Because poison damage disappears quickly. The eight damage counters per turn will add up quickly and have a huge impact. It doesn't get much talked about, but I think that there is a lot of potential if the format changes.
Team Rocket's Crobat Ex (234/182)
chrobat Always one of the most stable cards in the collection. It barely moved, and it felt like where it should be. The artwork is super smooth and it completely plays the way you want the egg to play. Quickly. surreptitiously. A little annoying. You evolve and cause chip damage and then bounce back with attack. It's fun and clever, and probably my favorite card in the top 10.
