Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater has an online multiplayer mode called Fox Hunt, and the gameplay is completely different from Metal Gear online

Konami brings back Metal Gears Multiplayer Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eaterbut don't expect it to work like online metal gear.
Metal Gear Online is a multi-person spin-off that is remembered, tied to 2008's Metal Gear Solid 4: Patriot's gun. Its servers were shut down four years later in 2012.
With the August version of Snake Eater and the 2004 remake of Metal Gear Solid 3, Konami Will Will Will Will Metal Gear Multiplayer will re-use Metal Gear Multiplayer with Fox Hunt, although it says it plays completely differently from MGO.
In the new video, Konami reveals a clip from Fox Hunt Gameplay that shows a soldier controlled by a third-person angle using Camo Tech to blend with the environment. For more information, please check it out Everything announced by Konami Press.

Metal Gear Solid Delta: Supervisor of Fox Hunt Mode, Yu Sahara, director of Snake Eater's Fox Hunt Mode, said this new online multiplayer mode will “camouflage and hide and seek to the next level”, using “stay back and forth nervous about hiding or searching for enemies” to create something unique.
“Fox Hunt is a completely primitive online multiplayer mode,” Sahara said. “Although it shares the same world with Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater, the gameplay is completely different.
“When we say Metal Gear multiplayer, many fans may think of Metal Gear online, but Fox Hunt will be its own new model. We are very grateful to all the long-time fans of MGO who have always wanted to see it make a comeback, but the landscape of multiplayer has changed a lot since Mgo. MOD GRACE has changed a lot since MGO. With a lot of new online modes in mind, you need to consider some new online modes.
“Based on the iconic stealth and survival elements of the Metal Equipment range, we are taking camouflage, hiding and seeking new levels. We challenge ourselves to make ourselves more than just a gunfight. We have arrived in hiding or searching for enemies to make metal equipment uniquely experience online to create enemies.”
Sahara added that you will soon learn more about Fox Hunter.
Meanwhile, the video shows more of the metal gear solid delta: Snake Eater, as well as its PC and PlayStation 5 Ape Escape crossover modes, Snake VS Monkey and Xbox Bomberman crossover modes, Snake vs Bomberman.
“While the basic game of boss fights remains the same, we have done some updates to AI and animation and rebalanced some things,” creative producer Yuji Korekado said of the main game.
Secret Theatre also returns, but in the remake, the original Secret Theatre video is now available for collections in the game. There are new Secret Theater videos produced for Metal Equipment Solid Delta: Snake Eater, secretly carried by enemy forces.
In April, IGN reported Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater' ESRB ListThe game mentions that the game includes illuminating and sexual content, such as PEEP Demo Theater unlocking, original metal gear 3 in survival and HD collection versions.
Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater launches on PlayStation, Xbox and PC on August 28, 2025.
