McFarlane Toys in its Lilith and Doom Slayer characters, live kombat and others IGN LIVE 2025

In a special IGN live version of UP this afternoon, McFarlane Toys's Brian Walters (director, Brand Creative) stopped to chat with Max Scoville and Brian Altano about what the company has in the pipeline, including their new elite series, along with Doom slayer from DOOM:DOM:DOM:DOM:DOM:DOBES:DACKES:DACK AGES, followed by Lilith from Diablo iv.
Walters said the idea behind the Elite version was “creating highly decorated, super detailed, iconic characters in the game.” One way these characters stand out is that they include soft merchandise, such as the fur cape on Doom Killer, which Walters notes are “introducing new materials that we haven’t used yet.”

Walters noted that many of the accessories doomsday killers brought it, including pulp, Flail, combat shotgun and Shield saw, saying he thought it was “the first great project of (the elite version). Walters said that despite current sold-out Doom Killer reservations, the figure will be earned after releases by retailers such as Walmart and GameStop. Yes, this implies that some monsters are fighting for the Doom Killer.
Meanwhile, Lilith just made a reservation today and was related to IGN Live. Her accessories include multiple palace fates with multiple expressions, and Williams said the idea is that they “know nothing about the number”, including articulated wings and “soft PVC tail so you can pose as much as you like.”
Williams said the challenge for characters like Lilith is “executing the balance of design but still making functional toys. You have to make tough decisions.” He added that the most difficult thing is probably not damaging the look of the character in an engineering situation.”

As for what else McFarlane toys have in the pipeline, there are also the game-based Fallout's electric armor instead of the series. The previous numbers they made for the TV version came from the movie The Madman series, so the Electric Armor would be the first articulated radiation character. Williams laughed at “There are more here. We have some surprises.”
Last but not least, Williams showed off two figures from the upcoming Mortal Kombat Classic series – including boxed parts that contain very interesting retro arcade packaging, including joystick controls on boxed art and Sub-Zero’s original character Select Select select sub-Zero and his original image of Bio.
