Celebrating the Ten Years of the Ark: Survival Evolution – 10 Things That Are Currently in the Ark Universe

Ark: Survival evolution, first landed on the early passage of Steam on June 2, 2015. Since then, it has started downloading tens of millions of times indie dinosaur survival sandbox games, seeing a steady pace of expansion, resulting in multiple spin-offs that have recently been remade. For Developer Studio Wildcards, the franchise has had a huge success and he is celebrating the 10th anniversary of the game, which includes in-game events, announcements and new ark full text. To stick to the theme of the celebration, here are 10 things that are happening in the Ark Universe.
1. Who is blowing candles?
Ark: Survival Rise is the aforementioned ARK: Survival Remake: PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X/S launched in 2023. It brings the World of Ark to the next generation of consoles and includes graphics upgrades rebuilt in Unreal Engine 5. To celebrate the 10th birthday of the Ark, Studio Wildcard has added a lot of party-themed content to ASA, including new structures, skins, consumables, consumables and emotions. 3. New Underwater DLCs Come to the Ark: Survival Evolution
Many Survivors still tame, train, and ride dinosaurs in the original ARK: Survival Evolved, and now ASE is getting a new DLC called ARK: Aquatica — the first major content update since the Fjordur map arrived in summer 2022. Exclusively designed by Snail Games to celebrate ARK's 10-year anniversary, Aquatica adds a new underwater biome and the first entirely submerged ARK of the series, introducing new survival mechanics, environmental hazards and large maps (three times the vertical size of the distortion map). The new biome also adds 20 new tameable water-based creatures, 69 new engrams (62 learnable Engrams and 7 Tek Engrams), and underwater survival, thanks to air pockets and divers.
4. ark: ragnarok rises
Ark: Ragnarok ascends to the Ark: Survival ascends on June 18, bringing back the beloved map in a completely restored form. In addition to returning favorites like Griffin and Ice Wyvern, this update introduces a brand new creature: Bison – a loyal, horned powerhouse with strong protection. With its volcanic chaos, rugged terrain and a new beast, Ragnarok is ready to challenge the survivors again.
5. Lost colony reservations starting June 18
Ark Booking: Lost Colony, the first large-scale normative expansion package: Ark: Survival rise, opens on June 18. The creative team released Animation trailer Earlier this year, the voice talents of Michelle Yeoh, Madeleine Madden and Auli'i Cravalho hint at the story of the map. Set in a massive, occupied city, this full-size expansion features new creatures, structures, gear and power, as well as a whole new story that continues the story of ARK: The Extinction. Players who book will unlock exclusive first day of content and first learn about the upcoming action this November.
6. Ark 2 link
Lost Colony is scheduled to be released in November, and its story will set the stage for the long-awaited Ark 2. The developer mocked the upcoming DLC to include story threads, legendary clues and new mechanics to hint at the contents of the sequel. What does that mean? We just need to wait and see.
7. New Gareth Coker Music
The lost colonial map will also release new music in the form of video game composer Gareth Coker, who forms the main theme of ARK: Survival and Development in 2015. His extensive catalogue also includes in Ori and Blind Forest and its Blind and its sequels, Minecraft, Minecraft, Immentals Fenyx Rising, Halo Infinite, Halo Infinite and Princia of Persia of Persia: The Lost Crown.
8. Astraeos update extends boundaries
Astraeos' first major content drop has arrived, with the launch of Lemnokis, a huge island map made by the famous ARK Modder Nekatus. This sprawling new island is filled with different biomes, hidden caves and towering redwoods, ancient ruins and huge statues suggest lost civilization. The lush expansion is not only for sightseeing—you can accept the first duo of the game, Kalydonios and Erymanthian, two large boars fighting fire and poison.
9. Mods powered by blowing wolves in the ark: Survival rise
ARK: Survival Ascended embraces a thriving modding community through its partnership with CurseForge, offering players access to over 4,200 mods — including premium collaborations like the popular ARK x Power Rangers mod that lets Survivors suit up as the Green Ranger, White Ranger, Lord Zedd, Rita Repulsa, and more — complete with custom emotes and theme weapons like the Saba Sword and Zedd Staff. You can browse and download all official mods Ark PortalSurvivors can customize games through new creatures, gear and gaming experiences created by the community. The ecosystem keeps the ark fresh and there are more original and licensed mods on the horizon.
10. Ark: Animation Series Part 2 arrives in the second half of 2025
Ark: Animated Series Part 2 premieres later in 2025, picking up the survival story of Helena Walker as she uncovers the scope of prehistoric mysteries on the island. Part 1, now available Paramount+introduces Helena's world and features a star-studded cast that includes Gerard Butler, David Tennant, Russell Crowe, Karl Urban, Elliot Page, Vin Diesel, Alan Tudyk, Madeleine Madden and Michelle Yeoh – Madden and Yeoh are all featured in Ark: Lost Colony Trailer. You can also bring the show into the game, which includes animated series character skins from ARK: Survival Asped.
