Pokémon Market Watch: Biggest Price Drop and Raising Drafts
Blog Andrew Joseph 03 Jun , 2025 0

The Pokémon Card Market is a changing beast and this week is no different. although I saw some major changes in the X and Y promotions last week, as well as the evolution of the prismatic shapenew Scarlet and violet expansion doomed competitors At least for the moment, it will be the focus of most trainers.
This is reflected in some of the biggest crashers and climbers in the single card in the new expansion, including some Huge Change the highly sought after chase card again Team Rocket's former Mr. Mewtwo or Mr. Ho-oh, Ethan.
Pokémon Card Crashers

since Destined competitor Officially launched on weekends Rockets' Ariana, dropped to $38.16 And drop from the previous $150 high (before the expansion begins).
besides Cynthia's Garchomp Ex (Super Rare)now only $67.83 (down from $138.68) Secret Art Rare Equivalent Price is $220.81 The high before the day of release was $469.90.
There is also the Mabosstiff Ex of Arven, which dropped to $31.28 ($49.99), and the Crobat Ex of Team Rocket, which now dropped to around $77.24 (formerly $120), and ended up selling at $31.94 instead of $99.99.
These are some major changes compared to the highs we have seen before Extended Release Weekwe also hope that there will be more big moves soon.
Pokémon Rock Climber

This is where things become… expensive. Although Rocket Team's Mewtwo Ex has previously dropped to around $338, it has returned, and the next best list on the TCG player is $523.80.
It's such a huge drop after (down from the previous $450 down), and it's a huge spike, so some hopes will settle around $340 again in the near future.
Rocket's Moltres Ex also recently soared to $314.69 again, after falling below $200. It also has a construction of up to $400+, so it's worth mentioning that check out this location next week.
Other big climbers this week include Ethan's Ho-Oh Ex (Secret Rare), the latest $145 low price with Rocket's Spidops (up to $23.99) and Zamazenta, which can reach up to $250 and up to $16.98.
Pokémon Card Sealing Booster
Long story short; retail matters look bleak Pokémon TCG Now. Almost everything surpassed retailers and seemed to be the new normal for big box retailers.
I could write an article why this is to stop this practice, but we are here. If you are focused on opening the booster pack, use: TCG player and Pokémon TCG At the time of writing, the secondary collector market is much cheaper than the large retailers.
Unless you can do it in a new collection (e.g. Destined competitor,,,,, Black bolts and white flares Quickly.
Last week's crashers and climbers
Last week’s crashers and climbers saw Prismatic Evolution Chase Card price drop, while classic X and Y promotions like Venusaur Ex, Blastoise Ex and Charizard Ex climb.
Mr. EEVEE EX It has also dropped 36% since mid-April, which will also begin rolling onto store shelves at Prismatic Evolutions Reprint. This is related to the community's refusal to pay for the astronomical prices of the Scarlet and Violet Chase Cards that appear to be pushing prices across the board.
Mr. Glaceon Ex It has been one of the cheaper EEVEELEDENTs in Prismatic evolution, but it dropped from $338.69 to $240.98 to 28% to the semi-high plateau, although I personally put my money on 200 cards that year ago.
