Pirates' Wealth is a love letter to Hondo Ohnaka

Star Wars Outlaws released A Pirate's Fortune DLC on PlayStation, Xbox and PC today, and received the first story extension, and fans have a cheeky Rascal called Hondo Ohnaka.
Drew Rechner, creative director of Ubisoft's huge entertainment, said DLC was born out of his team's love for Hondo Ohnaka, the Weequay Pirates, who have previously appeared in Darth Maul comics and Star Wars: The Clone Wars Animated TV Show.
“We always knew that because there are so many passionate people on the team, we needed to feature Honda. And, you know, the boring fantasy of Kay mixed with Hondo's pirate fantasy, which makes sense, right?” Rechner told IGN.
βAnd we also know that Kai will fit in on his own meaning, learn what it means to be a leader, and then have someone like Bendo as a mentor β or him? β we think that leads to something really interesting.β
DLC adds a new adventure to the main game, including the Rokana Raiders criminal gang, Miyuki Trade League, who can provide Kay with upgrades to the Trail Blazer Ship, and a new type of explosive ability called Shock Shock.
Star Wars Outlaws will also receive a release of Nintendo Switch 2 on September 4, but Rechner declined to say details about whether the new platform will bring any new features to the game, but does say more information is coming.
“In terms of specific feature sets, this is what we'll cover later. So we'll have more to discuss.”
The game can take advantage of some of the features of Switch 2 that can be used as a controller for the mouse and new GameChat features.
