The Nintendo Switch 2 physical version of Civilization 7 is a code in a box

Sid Meier's Civilization VII is one of the Switch 2 launch games, arriving on June 5 with Nintendo's new console. When the game was unveiled in April, the game had revealed the Switch 2 game, but now confirmed that Civilization VII received $70 for Physical Switch 2 Edition, although it should be noted that this is just the code in the box. This is the only physical version of SID Meier Civilization VII available for Switch 2. As mentioned above, this includes the game's download code – specifically the game's Switch Edition and Switch 2 Edition upgrades. The box does not contain ink cartridges or game key cards.
