Developer ICE Code Games (Hard West II, Rogue Waters) has announced Nightmare Frontier, a strategy game based on tactical turn and an extracted heist. Think about “XCOM meets Hunt: Showdown, Cthulhu throws in for a while.” Check out the announcement trailer above and the first screenshot in the gallery below.
The developer described the setting of the frontier of Nightmare as follows: “The story of the border of Nightmare is revealed in an alternative version of the 19th century America, and soon after, a mysterious event changed the world forever. The line between reality and unknown horror began to disappear, while those who remained left behind fell on that night, and the streets that were once backwards. Within the horror range – these creatures are called “terrible creatures.”
Nightmare Frontier’s goal is to mix the turn-based “Gun-n-Slash” gameplay with gameplay-changing horror, tempting risk-reward system and tempting loot. Wishlist If you are interested, have a nightmare on Steam.
