Xbox price increase includes $600 Series X console and $80 gaming

Microsoft announces The Xbox lineup has seen global prices rise, including consoles, games and even accessories. This means the Xbox Series X will now be retailing for $600 (formerly $500), and over the holiday season, featured first-party games will start to start at $80.
This is not just the Xbox Series X. The Xbox Series S 512GB system now starts at $380 (previously $300), meaning this generation has an entry price that is more expensive than it did when 2020 started. “Looking forward, we continue to focus on providing more ways to play more games on any screen and ensure the value of Xbox players.”
