this Surprise Announcement “Warhammer 40,000: Space Navy 3” is officially developingonly six months after the record release Space Ocean 2it will definitely excite fans. Now that the dust has solved the news, the mind inevitably turns to where the hero’s Demetic Titus will move forward in his third video game adventure.
warn! Warhammer 40,000 spoilers: Space Navy 2 follows.
Let's briefly introduce the events of Space Marine Corps 2 before speculating on what the Space Marine Corps might have.
Space Marines 2 sees that the superweapon Titus confronts Tyrande and Thousand Movie Traitors in a battle, and ends up in a massive battle with the Demon Army, or even a trip to a twist. With the help of the Master Marneus Calgar, Titus is sending a mysterious mission to mock the story's continuation in the sequel.
Now start guessing. Space Ocean 3 looks certain to have necrosisWarhammer 40,000's dead boneless robot Xenos, in some capacity. A Space Marine 2 made Titus show ancient and mysterious wall markings deep inside the guts of an alien planet, which clearly nodded.
There is even a data board (Space Marine 2's audio log) that reveals that the Necron construct has been killing Techpriests. You can see these constructs in this place.
Indeed, in the third act of the campaign, Titus heads to a Necron tomb world filled with Necron buildings and technology. Given the nature of the mission, some players believe that Xenos will be unexpected in the third enemy faction of the campaign. Alas, they didn't.
Can other enemy factions also appear in Space Marine Corps 3? Space Ocean 2 doesn't reveal the nature of Titus' secret new mission (Amazon's Secret Level Chormology, which acts as a Space Ocean 2 sequel, which doesn't show much of anything), but as eternal suspicious priest Leandros keeps a close eye on the proceedings in the lawsuit, just in case, Titus is getting narrower if there is corruption.
At this point, it is worth mentioning Enjoy an exclusive IGN interview with Tim Willits, chief creative officer of Saber Interactiveshortly after Space Marine Corps 2 came out. At the time, Willett said there was a possibility of a story DLC, and revealed that the idea had surfaced in Space Marine Corps 3.
In the interview, Willits teased Space Marine for launching new chapters along with new enemy factions on March 3. “There are many different factions…” he laughed, “There are other chapters that are interesting…”
Other chapters, are they? Can Titus leave ultramarines behind and join different chapters of his Space Navy 3 adventure? If so, it is almost impossible to say at this point which chapter may advance. Blood Angel, Dark Angel and Sal are one of the most popular ocean chapters outside of Poster Boys, but in fact, there is a long list to draw on. Maybe we will join forces with the towering Adeptus hosting at some point?
What will the enemy's chaotic faction fight against it? It's a pity to return to fight with the Thousand Suns in Space Marines 2. How about we fight Abaddon this time with Destoiler's Black Legion? Or the Death Guard? Or the emperor's child? They are a noisy group and will definitely continue to gather.
Meanwhile, what type of gameplay can we get from Space Marine 3? The game workshop, publisher Focus Entertainment and developer Saber Interactive didn't say much at this time, but there was talk about “introducing a more spectacular big battle.”
To me, that means the gameplay of the vehicle, something some people want to see from Space Navy 2. Can we drive the fearless type? rhino? Land accelerator? Land strategy? Assault bike? Raise the scale, which is your fixed work of driving the Rehawks during a ground attack is indeed epic.
As for the character, Space Navy 2 has the aforementioned Super Manalin Chapter Master Marneus Calgar. Can Space Marine 3 be better done, including Ultramarines Primarch Robute Guilliman himself? In the current environment, Black Horn Primarch Lion El'jonson is also pounding the Milky Way. Maybe we will meet him.
On the other hand, there are many high-profile traitor prophets who are currently intimidating the empire in the form of demons. Maybe one of them will be a guest star (fing fingers crossed into mortar!).
Whether the game workshops and Saber Interactive's sleeves are on the sleeves, it seems like we won't find out for a while. Games Workshop says Space Marine Corps 3 “maybe a few years away from release.”
