“Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection”, the third spin-off of Capcom's Monster Hunter series of turn-based RPGs, will launch on Switch 2, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC on March 13, 2026. The game is now available for pre-order, including a physical version on consoles. PC players can also save nearly 20% when pre-ordering the digital version of the game at Fanatical. “Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection” pre-order bonus

Pre-order any version of Monster Hunter 3: Twisted Reflection to receive the Skyscale Queen layered armor for playable character Eleanor. The armor is based on the iconic Fire Dragon suit familiar to fans of the mainline Monster Hunter games. Layered armor is purely cosmetic – unlike other gear in the game, it doesn't confer any stat bonuses or abilities, but it at least allows you to represent one of the series' flagship creatures regardless of what other gear you're wearing.

All physical and digital pre-orders include this bonus.

The standard edition of Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection includes the full base game on your platform of choice, and can also add the Skyscale Queen Layered Armor if you pre-order before launch. Physical PS5, Switch 2 and Xbox Series X versions are available for purchase at: Amazon and game station. Digital reservations are also available.

Please note that the Switch 2 version is the game keycard version. This means that no game data is stored on the cart; instead, it acts as a key that lets you download and play digital versions of the game. You will need at least 30GB of free space on your Switch 2 to install Monster Hunter Story 3.

Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection Fanatic Discount (PC)

As mentioned above, Monster Hunter Stories 3 is also available for digital pre-order on PC and consoles. PC gamers can save a few bucks by purchasing the game at Fanatical, which is offering a nearly 20% discount on all pre-orders. You can pre-order Digital Standard Edition— which includes all the same game content plus pre-order bonuses for the physical version — is just $57.39 at Fanatical (regularly $70). Purchase the game at Fanatical to get the official Steam key.

Monster Hunter Stories 3 Amiibo

In addition to physical and digital pre-orders, Hunter's Tale 3 also comes with three unique Switch 2 Amiibo figures. The first two are based on the twin fire dragons that the protagonist rides during the adventure, and the third is a character named Rudy, the party's follower companion. While Nintendo has revealed all three models, we don't yet know when they will launch or how much each will cost, and none are currently available for pre-order. We will update this section as more information becomes available.

Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection features an all-new story and cast of characters, and is a great place to start if you haven't played the first two games in the series. However, since we're still a few months away from the game's release, now is a good time to check out the early entries if you're curious. The best way to get them is with the Monster Hunter Stories Collection, which includes Monster Hunter Stories Remastered and Monster Hunter Stories II: Wings of Destruction. “Monster Hunter Story 3” is a new role-playing game set in the “Monster Hunter” world. Unlike the mainline series, which focuses on recurring hunts of the series' vast fauna, the story spin-offs are narrative-focused adventures that follow the Monster Riders, a culture that works with monsters rather than hunting them. Players capture and raise a series of monsters, then team up with them in turn-based battles and use their special abilities to help explore the vast overworld and dungeon-like monster lairs. Monster Hunter Stories 3 changes this formula with its focus on a new art style and dual protagonists, as the player's unsung hero joins forces with Eleanor, the princess of a rival kingdom, to investigate an omen that may herald an impending disaster that threatens both characters' homes.
