The new four-player cooperative shooter “Left 4 Dead Creator” is coming to PS5 and PC

Sony Interactive Entertainment has announced that it will team up with Bad Robot Games, the video game company of “Star Wars” and “Star Trek” director JJ Abrams, to produce and publish a new cooperative shooter game created by “Left 4 Dead” creator Mike Booth.
The as-yet-unannounced four-player co-op shooter is directed by Booth and will be coming to PS5 and PC at some point in the future. No further details were released and no images were released.
Anna Sweet, CEO of Bad Robot Games, said: “We want to provide players with a bold and innovative experience that is truly special. I couldn't be more excited to have Mike Booth at the creative helm to create a cooperative adventure that will create unforgettable moments with friends.”
Sony's Christian Svensson, meanwhile, said Bad Robot's “unique creative voice and passion” for innovation “fits perfectly with SIE's mission to create experiences that resonate deeply with players.”
In 2021, Bad Robot Games announced Raised US$40 million and is developing new AAA IP. The unit was established in 2018 with help from Tencent and Warner Bros. Games.
Abrams previously worked with Epic on a game called Spyjinx, but that game has since disappeared.
