Marathon stolen art issue resolved

bungee's marathon was Reportedly used stolen artbut now the problem has apparently been resolved. The artist who initially filed the claim against Bungie has now announced that the issue has “been resolved to my satisfaction with Bungie and Sony Interactive Entertainment.”
No further details were released about the nature of the matter or how it was closed. It is speculated that the artist received a settlement, but this has not been confirmed.

After art thefts came to light earlier this year Bungie responded. said it “immediately investigated” the issues and “confirmed that a former Bungie artist included these in the texture sheets that were ultimately used in the game.”
Bungie also said at the time that it was “committed” to doing the right thing for artists, and that seems to have happened now.
June, Bungie postpones marathon indefinitely Starting with the previously announced release date of September 23rd. The game still doesn't have a release date.
Regarding “Marathon”, Sony boss Hermen Hulst said that our goal is to create a “very bold, very innovative and fascinating game.”
“This cycle of testing, iterating, testing again is a critical component of the success of live services, not just leading up to a game's release but throughout its lifecycle,” he said.
The executive said Sony now has systems in place to ensure Marathon won't suffer the same fate as Sony's ill-fated Concord.
