Amazon has 50% off Borderlands 4 for PS5 and Xbox

If you haven't picked up a copy of Borderlands 4 yet, you can get some great deals at: Amazon and game station for black friday. Just two months after its release, Borderlands 4 is selling for just $35. 50% off physical version PS5 and Xbox Series X. The deal first appeared on GameStop today (November 27), with Amazon following suit shortly after. Amazon's PS5 version has already sold out once, so this deal may not be available after today.

While previous Borderlands games were primarily set on the planet Pandora – Borderlands 3 expanded on that by adding several more planets to visit – Borderlands 4 is set in the world of Kairos, giving players the freedom to cause some mayhem as they fight against the power of the timer.
Like its predecessor, the key objective here is to control one of four unique Vault Hunters, improve their skills, and further enhance their abilities by finding powerful weapons and gear. This formula has been around since the original Borderlands game, but in Borderlands 4 the gameplay has been fine-tuned to its best and enhanced with quality-of-life features.

The Nintendo Switch 2 port of Borderlands 4 was originally scheduled to be released on October 3, just weeks after the game was released on other platforms on September 1. But about a week before the release date, Gearbox announced that it would be postponed indefinitely in order to perfect the experience on Switch 2.
If you're planning on buying the Nintendo Switch 2 version of Borderlands 4, it makes sense to pre-order it now. Target has dropped the price by $15. Amazon matched the offer, but it sold out quickly. Keep in mind that this is a game keycard, so you'll need to download Borderlands 4 from the eShop after loading the cartridge into your console for the first time.

Since launch, developer Gearbox has further tweaked Borderlands 4 with a number of major updates, balance patches, and weekly hotfixes. The studio also has extensive post-launch plans for the game (both paid and free), with the first DLC set to release on November 20 and add new missions, enemies and legendary gear.
Endgame content will also arrive by the end of the year, where players will be able to test their skills as Vault Hunters take on a tough boss called the Invincible Bloom Reaper.
