Battlefield 6 Free Trial Week Is Now Live – Here’s What You Need to Know

EA and Battlefield Studios launch the first Battlefield 6 Free Trial for new players on PC, PlayStation 5 (PS5) and Xbox Series X | Opportunity to try out Season One multiplayer maps and modes throughout Thanksgiving.
The limited-time event runs from today (November 25th at 4am PT/7am ET) until December 2nd at 4am PT/7am ET. It's a scheduled beta period for anyone wondering whether the new Battlefield is worth it, following what EA calls the most successful launch in the FPS shooter series' history.
“We’re extremely proud of what the amazing team at Battlefield Studios has accomplished and excited about the community’s enthusiasm as we continue to build the game battlefield “Today's launch of the Battlefield 6 free trial is a great opportunity for new players to experience the Total War experience that millions of players around the world enjoy,” Byron Beede, general manager of Battlefield 6, said in a statement.
See details Blog post from EABattlefield 6's free trial week offers three playlists for new players: Starting Breach, Close Combat, and Total War. The first is designed to ease newcomers into the game's destructive gameplay, which includes 48 players, as well as real-world humans and bots. Close Combat focuses on fast-paced gunplay on smaller maps and includes Team Deathmatch and Destruction modes. Finally, Total War presents Battlefield 6's unrestricted multiplayer, allowing players in the free trial to experience Conquer, Level Up, and Breakthrough modes on the largest map.
The free trial isn't quite the full Battlefield 6 Season 1 experience, but it does give players a chance to try out its core gameplay without spending $69.99 (or what little) to buy. Cheaper if you act fast). Players can enjoy maps including Siege of Cairo, Blackwell Fields, and Eastwood through the free trial playlist.
EA also clarified that those who enjoyed Battlefield REDSEC will notice that their progress carries over to the free trial of Battlefield 6, which introduced free-to-play battle royale and Gauntlet modes when it launched late last month. If players choose to purchase the full game, additional progress made during the trial period will also carry over to the full experience. Those who log into either experience before November 30th will also receive a free ranged lethal force weapon pack.
