After the discount, a box of 30 packs now costs $149.95 instead of $209.70, a significant but perhaps unsurprising price drop.
After all, the Spider-Man franchise saw a similar drop within days. The difference, however, is that this set is more cohesive and more fun to play with than its Marvel counterparts.
At the standard list price, you're actually paying $6.99 per Play Booster pack, but with this discount, the price drops to $4.99 per pack.
There are 14 cards per pack, so you're getting 420 cards with this trade, and while they're unlikely to be the alternative art treatments you'd find in the (grossly overpriced) Collector's Booster Packs, you can easily pull out enough to build an Avatar deck – or have enough to trade.
The set is the last Magic product to launch in 2025, but there will be more sets coming next year, starting with Rowan's Eclipse. Pre-order has started Inaugurated for 2026.
