The best PS5 video game deals for Black Friday 2025 are now online

PlayStation Black Friday 2025 sales are well underwayrunning until December 1st, and a new wave of newly added games have just been added to the mix.

Every major retailer has launched a strong lineup of PS5 games, including games like Astro robot costs $39.99, Battlefield 6 for $52.99and Spider-Man 2 costs $29.99.

To keep things simple and clear, I've broken down my top picks into two categories: the latest blockbusters of 2025 and the rest of the PS5's must-play releases from the past five years.

2025 PS5 Game Black Friday Deals

For the inexperienced, black friday deals Things tend to go live a week in advance these days, so while Black Friday doesn't go live until November 28th, we've got all the best discounts on PS5 games for you to check out.

Hot deals on PS5 games in 2025 include some of my personal favorites, Sonic Racing: Crossover Worlds and Assassin's Creed: Shadows for only $30 – Even better deals now that Walmart's Black Friday sale has begun.

This also applies to Metal Gear Delta: Snake EaterIt dropped to $50 earlier this week, but now it's only $30 at Walmart. I saw that one sold out quickly!

I also like to sing praises Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 The price just hit an all-time low as part of Black Friday sales. Again, it's only $30 on Amazon right now, a $40 savings.

More PS5 Game Deals on Black Friday

This first-party PlayStation cut is certainly worth a look, especially the newer content.

Astro Bot, the reigning 2024 Game of the Year Champion, Price $39.99 It earns every penny. If you want more, Helldiver 2, spider man 2the price of the two games of “The Last of Us” has remained stable at $29.99. Stellar Blade down to $39.99, Horizon Forbidden West $19.99.

Walmart also threw out Elden Ring and Star Wars: Desperados are available for $15 each in a new batch of deals that just went live. Both are in our Roundup of top games under $20 There's a reason for this, as any $15 is a no-brainer.

PS5 digital game deals and more

I've only scratched the surface of the sales, too, as there are plenty more games to check out between now and Black Friday, including Best Game of 2025 nominator, Death Stranding 2, now $49.69. That's $20 off, matching the best price for the game so far this year.

Also get $20 off on popular Konami products, like Metal Gear Delta: Snake Eaterand silent hill fboth also down from $69.99 to $48.99. Both of these can be found in Best Buy Black Friday Saleor through the PlayStation Store’s digital storefront.

At the same time, the price of the physical version has also hit a record low. Battlefield 6, down to $52.99, EA Sports FC 26 for $29.99, Borderlands 4 for only $47.99,etc. These are cheaper than buying digitally, and for some the difference will be small and for others the difference will be larger.

For example, the physical version of Battlefield 6 is significantly more cost-effective ($52.99 vs. $59.49), while the digital versions of some games, such as Death Stranding 2, are slightly cheaper ($49.69 vs. $49.99). So, sometimes it comes in handy to have one optical drive (I’m looking at you, PS5 Pro users).

Should you wait for Black Friday, November 28?

Black Friday deals are a bit confusing these days. Retailers are hanging out so-called limited-time deals throughout November, but the simple fact is that the real discounts always appear about a week before what I call “Black Friday.” Now we have entered the final stage.

After more than six years of tracking PlayStation pricing, a pattern has never been broken, and once the PlayStation deal went live, it changed little. So the prices you see on consoles, controllers, and games now are almost certainly the same prices you saw in early December.

If you've been waiting for something better, stop. This is as good as it gets. Grab what you've been paying attention to, because the only risk you take at this point is missing out.
