The Pro Deluxe model has a full-size steering wheel in dark red and black. It features textured handles, a sturdy base, a pair of pedals, and conveniently placed inputs in the general area where your hands naturally rest. The ZR and ZL triggers are located on the rounded portion of the wheel, while the front buttons, D-pad, and various menu inputs are in the middle of the wheel.
Aside from the larger size and more premium feel, the biggest perk is the inclusion of removable paddles. These paddles, along with the ZR and ZL trigger positions, allow you to play Mario Kart and other racing games without having to change your hand position to press buttons.

The Pro Mini's color scheme is based on the red and blue hues seen on Mario's iconic costume. Like the larger Pro Deluxe, it has a Mario logo in the center surrounded by various buttons, including the D-pad, four face buttons, and the menu button. The four triggers/buffers are also centrally located as yellow buttons. The Pro Mini doesn't have the textured wheel covers or removable paddles found on pricier models, but you still get a pair of paddles for acceleration and braking.
If you're planning on buying a Nintendo Switch 2 this holiday season, you probably shouldn't wait until the last minute if you want the Mario Kart World bundle. When the bundle was announced, Nintendo said it would only be available in fall 2025, so there was a chance it would sell out before the holidays.
