Shout Factory recently discontinued one of its best horror movie box sets, but there's still time to add it to your collection before it's gone forever. Friday the 13th Highlights Deluxe Edition Amazon has it in stock at a discount of up to 34%, bringing the price down to $105.34 (originally $160). Released in 2020 to rave reviews from fans and critics, this 16-disc Blu-ray set is the only Friday the 13th set to include all 12 films. With Amazon's deal, you'll pay just $8.75 per movie, and that's not including the plethora of special features, premium display cases, and collector's manuals.
The set was discounted to $124 during Amazon's Halloween Horror Sale and sold out quickly. The price of $105.34 is the lowest we've seen in years. Since Shout Factory is no longer printing the series, Amazon's current deal may also be the last. Take a closer look at the Friday the 13th series deluxe edition below.

$105.34 (originally $160)
The Friday the 13th Series Deluxe Edition is a 1080p Blu-ray set featuring every film in the iconic horror series. The classic eight-film storyline – from the 1980 original to 1989's Part VIII: Jason Takes Manhattan – is joined by the controversial Jason Goes to Hell (1993) and Jason X (2002), the A Nightmare on Elm Street crossover Freddy vs. Jason and the 2009 reboot.
Unlike many larger box sets, each movie comes in its own traditional Blu-ray box with double-sided cover art. There are 13 chests in total, as both bonus material discs have their own chests. The film and a 40-page booklet containing essays and photography are packaged in a durable slipcase, pictured above. The slipcase features exclusive Devon Whitehead artwork on all four sides.
The first four films in the series were based on new (at the time) 4K restorations from Shout Factory. Shout Factory has also restored the mono/stereo soundtracks for the first seven films in the series. The original film comes on two discs, one with restored audio and the other with original sound. Jason Goes to Hell and Jason X receive new insert-based 2K scans.
If you're a die-hard fan of the series, this treasure trove of special features is worth the price of admission. In addition to all the archival content from the earlier Blu-ray and DVD releases, the set also comes with extensive new audio commentary from the cast and crew. It also includes new audio commentary led by other filmmakers influenced by the series. You'll also find new behind-the-scenes footage, documentary outtakes, and interviews. With so many special features, the last two discs in the box set contain even more special features.
