Unexpected active tasks Arclight Guide Sends you to the buried city map to find fertilizer and water pumps. You'll need to visit two separate (albeit thankfully close) locations to interact with and loot these items, so you're probably wondering here where exactly they are. You're in luck because we'll provide you with the information.

Note that the game will provide you with fertilizer and a water pump as part of this quest, but you can find these elsewhere and turn them in from your own storage room if you wish. However, since the mission must be completed in a Buried City raid to count, you'll still need to visit both locations and loot them to examine the objectives. Regardless, it's a good idea to bring a booster with two secure pockets so you can keep the fertilizer and water pump you find even if you can't extract it safely.

Let’s take a closer look at where to find fertilizers and water pumps for unexpected initiative tasks.

Grandioso Apartments Where to Find Fertilizer

The Grandioso Apartments are located on the west side of the Buried City map. This is a large residential point of interest that is frequented by other raiders as it has above average loot. Keep an eye out for suspicious people and be ready for a fight if absolutely necessary.

When you arrive, ride the internal zipline to the top floor, then follow the nearby stairs to the roof.

Here you'll find fertilizer in some orange planter pots. Throw it into the safe pocket and head to the Roman Forum area for the next step.

Where to find a water pump in the broken roof garden of the Roman Forum

The Roman Forum is located northeast of the Grandioso Apartments, so it's only a short walk away after getting the fertilizer. There are several buildings in this area, but you'll head to the one circled in the image below. This is not a high-traffic point of interest, so you most likely won't encounter anyone else here unless they are also doing quests.

When you arrive, walk between this building and the building below it to find a yellow ladder that will take you all the way to the roof. You can also walk through the building normally if you wish, but this is by far the most efficient route to the top.

On the roof, check the water pump in the corner next to all the large flower pots. Loot the water pump and store it in a secure pocket.

Once you've collected the Fertilizer and Water Pump, head to your nearest metro station that's still active, then safely return to Speranza to complete the mission and move on to the next one.
