Arclight GuideThe first major update since launch brings a brand new map, two more ARC enemyas well as a variety of fresh items (guns, grenades, etc.) for players to discover and use. However, it also introduces the first event in the game, “Breaking New Ground.” While the first part of the event asked the community to come together and commit resources to unlocking the Stella Montis map, the second part – Stake Our Claim – offers a free mini-battle pass of sorts, with tons of rewards just for playing the game.

To unlock rewards during the Staking Our Claims event, you need to earn XP in matches. For every 100 XP earned, you receive 1 merit point. You'll need a total of 3,600 merit points to collect everything in the event—and while that sounds like a daunting task, the XP comes quickly as you loot and kill enemies in the raid, so it might take you less time than you think.

Additionally, if you participate in the first half of the campaign by providing resources for tunnel work, you'll already have a whopping 900 points of bonus track honors at the start. This will give you a sizable head start on earning each reward, so we hope you contribute! Every 150 merit points automatically unlock and grant rewards, ensuring you're regularly rewarded for your hard work as you explore the Upper Side.

Here's a look at each of the rewards in the Stake Our Claims event and how much Merit you'll need to unlock them. All rewards are free, so there's no need to buy anything, just play and earn XP and you won't miss out on anything. The event ends on December 7th, so you have a little over three weeks from the start to get all the free rewards.
