One of the best Nintendo Switch games gets a rare discount in 2019 Walmart’s first 2025 Black Friday deals. From now until November 16th, super mario bros marvel Only $43 (originally $60). Super Mario Bros. Miracle was released in October 2023 to rave reviews. It's the first new side-scrolling game in the series since 2012's New Super Mario Bros. U (unless you count Super Mario Maker 2).

Super Mario Bros. Miracle plays beautifully on the Nintendo Switch and Switch 2, but when it Nintendo Switch 2 version will launch in Spring 2026. The Nintendo Switch 2 version is called Super Mario Bros. Wonder + Meetup in Bellabel Park. The latter is a new collection of multiplayer modes.

Original users can pay to upgrade to the Switch 2 version on the eShop. Nintendo has yet to announce the price of the Switch 2 version, but it will likely be in line with the $80 MSRP of other Switch 2 versions with expansion packs: Kirby and the Forgotten Lands + The Lost World and Super Mario Party Bash + Bash TV. If this is the case, the upgrade fee is $20.

Speaking of Mario Party, Nintendo Switch 2 players can purchase physical versions of Super Mario Party Jamboree and Jamboree TV from Walmart for $63. This deal is for the World Edition, which is the North American version and has slightly different box art. The only difference you'll notice is that there's no ESRB rating on the front of the box.
