A new Ratchet & Clank game just released… for mobile devices

A new Rachet & Clank game has just been announced, but sorry folks, it's not a new PS5 adventure game. The game is called Rachet & Clank: Ranger Rumble, and it's coming to mobile soon.
Ranger Rumble is described as “a fast-paced multiplayer platform arena shooter” developed by French mobile studio Oh BiBi. According to a new trailer released today, you can play as various Ratchet & Clank characters, including Ratchet himself, in a number of different game modes, including a traditional arena shooter mode called Total Rumble, a football-like Blast Ball, and a game mode called Bolt Rush that involves collecting bolts.
The game takes place in a simulation set by Captain Qwark and apparently involves heroes from Across the Galaxy and Time competing against each other in teams, and you can join random groups alone or collaborate with friends online. So far, there aren't many other details about what the game is about.
This news may be a bit disappointing for fans of Ratchet & Clank, who were hoping for a bigger, bolder entry in the series following “Split,” which is due out in 2021. We gave it a 9/10 “It's a fantastic PS5 exclusive that showcases the power of the console and is an enjoyable adventure in its own right.” The series has been quiet since then, around the time we might expect another major release, but it looks like fans will have to keep waiting.
Meanwhile, Ranger Rumble will launch at some point. Pre-registration is now open Official website.
