The Chronicles of Narnia Deluxe Hardcover Box Set Comes with a slipcase featuring Aslan's vibrant artwork. As mentioned earlier, this hardcover set was launched in July with a rather hefty price tag of $140. The current price of $51.47 is an all-time low for the box; last month it sold for nearly $80.

You may miss out on the fancy metal cover, decorative page edges, and foil-gilt box, but the Deluxe Hardcover Box Set is a better choice for kids and anyone concerned about the readability of the comprehensive fonts.

The individual hardcover editions have similar page sizes (6 x 9 inches), but the seven novels combined have 1,668 pages, more than twice the combined volume.
