New “Bloodborne” Deluxe Graphic Novel and Bookcase Series Limited Time Offer

Death by Sleep Deluxe Edition is the first hardcover version of the Bloodborne graphic novel. It features larger, higher quality pages and stunning new cover art by horror artist Piotr Kowalski.

Longtime readers of the series will appreciate the extra content exclusive to the Deluxe Edition. It features over 30 pages of new material, including commentary on the adaptation process, production art, and the original script for Bloodborne #1 by writer Ales Kot. The deluxe edition has 144 pages, while the standard paperback edition has 112 pages.

The first volume contains the first four comics of the Bloodborne comic series. Unlike the game, its protagonist is an unknown hunter who embarks on a journey to find the Blueblood and escape Old Yharnam, a nightmarish ancient city haunted by all kinds of gothic horrors.

While some plot points in the series are similar to parts of the games, the series also has its own story and introduces new characters not seen in From Software's games.

Titan Comics has just published Bloodborne: The Graphic Novel Collection Vol. November 4-6; it's only a few bucks off, but it's part of Amazon's B2G1 free sale.

Like the first set, this set includes three 336-page paperback books, exclusive art cards, and a decorative slipcase. The trade paperback editions of Volumes 4 through 6 are available individually for $16.73 each (regular price $18).

Piotr Kowalski illustrated all three volumes in the set, but Ales Kot dropped out of the project after the fourth Bloodborne comic book, Veiled, Torn.

If you're interested in the Bloodborne comics, there's a good chance you'll also enjoy the Dark Souls adaptation. this Dark Souls: The Complete Collection is the best place to start, as this 384-page comprehensive collection contains the first four volumes of the series and an anthology of short stories. The only book not included is The Willow King, published last September. The aforementioned slipcase set contains only the first three volumes of the series.

Dark Souls' next graphic novel, The Mourning Mother, will be the beginning of a new storyline.

Dark Souls also has a comic series called Redemption. “Dark Souls: Redemption” is published in paperback by Yen Press and currently has two volumes published. The second volume, “Bonfire,” was released in July and will cost a few dollars.

Software's latest hit, Elden Ring, isn't being adapted into a graphic novel, but you can spend more time in Lands Between by reading the comic The Road to the Erdtree. The manga is a comedy, so it has a much different tone compared to the game. Since its initial publication in 2023, Yen Press has published six volumes. Now's a good time to catch up, with Volume 7 available on November 18th. Volume 1 is in Amazon's B2G1 free sale, and multiple other volumes are now on sale.

Sekiro comics

Yen Press is also publishing a standalone comic based on Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice. The 144-page manga is called Sekiro Gaiden: Immortal Hanbei and takes place before the events of the game. It's also included in Amazon's B2G1 free book promotion.
